What To Expect

Your first stop is at Christ the Redeemer, which you reach by a train ride through the Tijuca National Forest, one of the largest urban forests worldwide. At the top, get sweeping views of Rio and take the time to snap photos.

Visit Lapa, home to the Lapa Arches and the colorful Selaron Steps. Swing by the popular recreation spot Flamengo Park on the way to Sugar Loaf Mountain. Hop a cable car to the top at 1,300 feet (396 meters) and enjoy more panoramic views of the city below. We booked at the last minute and it was an excellent experience. Our guide, Joao Paulo, was great, knowledgeable and proud to show us around his city. He asked what we wanted to see and suggested a few things we didn't know about, and we ended up having the perfect day. We really enjoyed the full day trip with our wonderful tour guide Diogo Lopes! He was very knowledgeable and friendly! He created the great schedule that included the most scenic parts of Rio! We visited Christ Redeemer, Selaron steps, Sugarloaf mountain, beautiful park, Santa Teresa neighborhood and had a great lunch at Churascaria restaurant. Ulysses was fantastic. He was knowledgeable ,punctual, friendly and professional at all times. He was very flexible with our day and managed to fit everything that we wanted to visit in our time frame. WOW what a tour, we were only in Rio for 36hr so wanted a tour that allowed us to see all the sights and give us a feel of the city, and that's exactly what we got and more. Diogo was fantastic, communication via WhatsApp started few days before the tour allowing us to decided what we wanted to see / do. We were very flexible so left it to his expertise. The whole day we were driven around the city with Diogo and a driver (can't remember his name) learning about what Rio has to offer, Diogo walked around with us all day and communicated with the driver who met us at various points to continue the tour. Couldn't of asked for a better tour thanks you Diogo *Diogo had also take a load of photos / videos that we hadn't realised and sent them to us as the tour finished a lovely keep sake of our reactions

Patricia was quick to put together a driver, Romullo, and a tour guide, Fabio, to take my friend and I to our pre arranged private tour of Rio. The tour guide that was originally scheduled to give us the private tour did not show up. Fabio and Romullo saved the day. Fabio's very knowledgeable and gave us a comprehensive tour of Rio's historical sites. Fabio and Romullo were both kind, helpful and quite flexible with our schedule.

Getting a chance to see a local carnival parade in Santa Theresa was the high light. All aspects of the tour were outstanding except the traffic issues that were completely unavoidable. Both Monica our guide and Bruno our driver went out of their way to ensure we saw and enjoyed all the best sites in Rio. At the end of the day they even delivered us to a great restaurant. They're the best.
