A nice tour

A little trouble finding our driver/guide at the pick up point (the Port), but eventually everything was fine. The phone # we were given to call in case of a problem (5521966382686), was not answered when called several times. Later, I noticed that the guide had a shirt on that listed a different phone number (55219980612210). Our guide (Lucas) and the driver were great.

Alex and Romeu were amazing! Super knowledgeable, they shared so much about the history of the city and took us to the most fantastic places! They were punctual and very nice people! This tour includes the main attractions in Rio, like the sugar loaf and Christ the redeemer, and we really liked the fact that for the rest, you can customize and pick between nature, history and art!

She was able to customize the tour on the fly based on our interests and never failed to fully answer any question we had. She helped secure prime viewing spots for the cable car to Sugar Loaf Mountain and gave us a heads up whenever we approached a scenic lookout on the Corcovado train up to Christ the Redeemer. Guide did not show up even after phoned office requesting help 4 times. Office only answered once then to voicemail on 3 calls. We looked in all directions for 30 minutes-no one talked to us or had our name on a sign. Office called an hour after scheduled pickup time to say he was there entire time-Not true. We were forced to make other last minute arrangements.

Great experience. Our guide and driver brought us to all the main sites in the City. He planned the route to avoid the large crowds and becuase he was a licensed guide was able to skip the lines and get us into the sites faster so we had more time to enjoy them. This also allowed us to see more of this amazing city. I highly recommend a private tour as the service is very personalized to what you want to see. Great job!

Our guide Igor made the whole experience more enjoyable and communicated in very good English. We enjoyed the amazing views from the jesus statue and from sugar loaf mountain. (If you want to see both on the same day, this is the only way to do it. I would have been perfectly happy to do just the statue, but my wife wanted to go to both mountain tops ) Afterwards we went to see a colorful neighborhood with cool tiled steps and Igor's lunch restaurant recommendation was amazing! We finished off the day at the Opera house. Wonderful day. Thanks very much Igor!

Carlos was simply amazing. We had a brilliant time touring Rio, seeing far more than we expected. Carlos arranged to pick us up a little earlier to avoid queues and it worked perfectly. This was a really great option for us. We were very glad to book this tour. Francisco was great. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating for what we wanted to see and do. He even went out of his way to take us to a restaurant we wanted to try and even back to our hotel once to get bug spray that we forgot. We felt very safe the whole time. I highly recommend spending the day with Francisco and letting him do the driving and providing guidance as you tour Rio. Private tour is so much better than joining a big group and dealing with the inevitable annoying person in every group.
