The most fabulous views in all of Rio! Pedro, our guide, was wonderful. He is very accommodating and knowledgeable. Waterfalls are amazing. The hike up was moderate on most of the trail with it being steep the last 50 feet. It was great fun!

Eduardo made the Hike!

Our guide Eduardo was incredible, he was really knowledgeable and witty. Definitely added to the hiking experience. His expertise with taking pictures and video gave us a lot of amazing footage from our hike/experience. The views were beautiful and the hike is a medium challenge. Would highly recommend and definitely ask for Eduardo!!

Light (sometimes steep) hiking to see several waterfalls, cave, and vistas. Paulo grew up in the mountain area and explained many of the sites an answered all our questions.

Our tour guide was awesome! Mr. Brazil ! The Jungle in the middle of Rio is incredible… the water falls … Priceless . Do not wear new sneakers . this is a jungle mud and dirt everywhere, to be expected . Read their instructions before pick up. Beautiful tour

Great half day adventure

Fun hike with some great opportunities to capture wonderful photos. My partner (and another person in the group) got car sick on the way there making their experience less enjoyable. Our guide Bernardo was great at getting “the right shot” for photos! I wish we would’ve been able to see more wildlife. We did the easy-medium hike.

Eduardo- what a gem of a human. He is just so lovely. The tour was really enjoyable, a small group of 5 so it was very intimate. Seeing the waterfalls, cave & views was an amazing experience. The guide was courteous, punctual, and very knowledge. We got to see monkeys and lemurs. Be aware , there is a lot of walking, and often uphill.

A Nature Lover's Dream

We had a wonderful time enjoying Tijuca National Forrest with our stellar guide Bernardo. Pick up was easy and we saw so much in such a short time. The hiking and caves were so interesting and beautiful, and splashing in the waterfalls was the perfect way to end the day. We learned about the flora and fauna and saw some wildlife in addition to amazing views. If you like nature and hiking I would highly recommend this experience! As a bonus, Bernardo was also an excellent photographer who knew exactly how to capture the experience for our memories!

The other couple meant to go on this tour with me cancelled, which meant I got my own personal tour guide hike! Alex was knowledgeable, helpful, and patient as we traversed the trail, climbed through caves, and dipped into a waterfall pool! The trail is manageable but the humidity and heat will make it more challenging even for regular trail hikers. The bat cave, Tauney waterfall, and view at Vista Chinesa were well worth it though!
