Meeting instructions: Mahogany Bay: Upon debarkation of your cruise ship at Mahogany Bay Cruise Center, walk past the shopping area. You will see the white taxis; at that point, make a left straight up the hill. When you see a green gate, walk through it and walk down to where you see people holding signs. Look for the one that says Roatan Henry Tour, and ask for Creg. Let him know you have a reservation with him and tell him your name. Coxen Hole Pier: Upon debarkation, walk through and past the main shopping area on your right. Turn right when you see sales booths. You may be confronted by other vendors offering their tours. They will be very persistent, but keep telling them that you are all set. Keep walking towards the exit gates to the main street. If you have any trouble finding the exit, ask the security professionals at the pier, who will assist you with finding the exit to the main street. As you exit through the gates, look to the right, where you will see people waiting and holding signs. Look

We met up with our tour guide Wilson and started for our adventure. He was able to show us this beautiful island while telling us part of the history and culture. Our first stop was to see the birds, monkey's and sloths. It was fun to interat with the wildlife and play with them. We were never rushed and enjoyed our visit. Next Wilson took us to the place where we would ride the ATV's. They were very enjoyable and part of the trip was on road but much of it was by dirt. It was our first time on an ATV but we were given a quick lesson and really had an enjoyable time. From there we were able to see other parts of the island and then returned to the ship. Wilson was great! I would highly recommend requesting him if you get the have the opportunity to take this tour.

Great excursion to do with teens.

Super easy to find once we arrived in port. Trent and his son Brent were our guides and were great. Rode on an air conditioned bus to the atv site. Our group was really large so took awhile to get everyone set up. We loved seeing the village and surrounding area. Our only frustration was some of the people had never driven an ATV before, would have been better if they allowed those with previous experience to go in front. Then went to monkey, sloth experience after. We had 2 teenage boys 17 & 12 was a great excursion for them.

Great tour all around. We were just with our party of 7. Ages ranged from 10-47, with two in their teens and two in their twenties and we all had a blast. The tour started promptly, traveled out of Coxen Hole via RC cruise port so had approximately 45 min drive to get to ATV. Rode for about 1 hour, and my 14 year old was able to drive her own so she was stoked!! Stopped for a couple of pictures, would have liked to been asked if we wanted to stop for snack or drink as we love to support local, but we were the later tour of the day and probably on a time restraint. Hopped back on bus to ride to Monkey a Sloth Sanctuary, where Howie gave us a great presentation prior to letting us meet the animals. Our bus driver Trent was also very knowledgeable and happy to answer all the questions my family had during the ride. We got dropped off right inside the port. The pick up location was outside the port so you had to walk through everyone wanting to sell you a tour. I was expecting this and everyone was very polite and friendly. But if you were not expecting this ahead of time this part can be overwhelming for first time travelers. Just smile and say you already booked with Henry Tours and they all smile and point you to the right place. Thank you for sharing your beautiful island with us!!

We didn’t know what to expect when we booked this tour! It exceeded our expectations. We were a group of 10!!! Had an amazing time with Licor (our driver and our tour guide). He stayed with us the entire time. My teenage son loved it so much, he’s still talking about it! Will definitely be booking Viator for all our land excursions when we travel.

Driver of the van was really interesting about Roatan. Really enjoyed the people who went with us on the quad ride. Very nice and fun to be with. The Wild Life adventure was not much - 4 cages with sloths, parrots, monkeys - definitely not that big of a deal. I wouldn't pay to go back to that.

This was an absolutely fantastic experience. You get a chance to really experience Roatan in a personal way. The ATV guides were great especially for a someone riding an ATV for the first time. There were great stops to get some photos and see the coast up close. The animal sanctuary was just as amazing. You get the feeling that the animals are treated well and you have some incredible interactions you wouldn't normally get to have.

Great experience with friends and kids. Super nice guides! Not a lot of rules. We had a few people with us that we didn’t know who kept the group slower than we would have preferred, but overall it was great! I feel bad for the communities and starving dogs on the island!

We got off the ship and walked out of the port and were quickly met by someone from Henry Tours who introduced us to Benson, our private guide for the day. He spoke great English and was very polite and knowledgeable. He drove us to Mayan Eden nature preserve where we held sloths and large parrots and even had adorable white faced monkeys jump onto our shoulders. We were able to get some unbelievable pictures. Next, Benson took us to the other side of the island to ride the ATVs for about an hour. After a brief safety overview we headed out for our journey along the shoreline. First there was a stretch on pavement which gave us ample time to get confident with the ATV. Next we were venturing up and down dirt paths. Before heading back, we stopped in a little pavilion where we could get souvenirs or drinks, etc. When we were finished looking around we hopped back on the ATVs and returned. The ATVs were a lot of fun. After the ATVs, Benson took us back to the ship. It was a pleasure to have him as our guide.

What an incredible value! We had private transportation that picked us up and dropped us off to and from our hotel. The ATV’s were so fun! I cannot believe I got to tough and hold a sloth. We also held monkeys, a tucán, & other wildlife. Our guide was so friendly. We enjoyed every minute of this tour.

Better than a cruise excursion booking

I was worried about booking an excursion not through the cruise line but these guys are awesome. It was easy to find them outside the gate and then my wife and I were assigned to Benson our personal driver who was THE BEST. His safe driving habits along with his friendly and outgoing personality made the day fantastic. The guides for the ATV and wildlife were just as professional. Thanks guys.

Fun day, but not true to description

We did enjoy our day on this excursion, but the description and reality did not quite matchup. The description listed Mayan Eden Eco park as our destination for our animal encounters, but we actually were taken to MANAWAKIE ECO NATURE PARK. We still had the opportunity to interact briefly with monkeys and sloths, but it all felt kind of rushed. Which may have been due to time constraints. But this park is much further away from the port than the listed Mayan Eden. No explanation was given for the change in itinerary, and I had to go back and look after the fact to make sure I had the names right and we had been taken to a different location than listed. The guides were friendly and helpful, but the bait and switch on locations leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

We had a great time. Initially we were a little disappointed that the monkeys were in an enclosure. We were reassured that they were rescue animals. We were expecting a natural park. Overall the experience was good. There were some problems initially in organizing the pick up location and time. Overall everything worked out well!

The entire excursion was chaotic and completely unorganized! Our tour guide rarely ever spoke and treated us as if he was annoyed to be there. I let them know I would be 30 minutes late to the excursion a week ahead of time because my cruise ship didn’t dock until 11 and the excursion was supposed to start at 11. I was repeatedly told it wouldn’t be a problem. But when I showed up, at 11:30, I was told my driver left because I was late! They were outside the dock with no signage whatsoever to let me know who they were. I had to keep asking random people if they heard of the group in order to get pointed in the right direction!

We did this excursion while in Roatan on RCL Wonder of the Seas. It was a highlight of our trip. Our driver/guide was Wilson and he was excellent. My daughter and I had never driven ATVs before but the ATV guides were very helpful and we felt comfortable right away. We enjoyed the short break halfway for a drink and loved the high fives from the local kids. The animal visit was so much fun. Lots of time to interact and take pictures with many different animals. Highly recommend!
