First Time in Rome, Do the On & Off Bus Tour!
Brian_W, May 2023
Would definitely recommend doing the On & Off bus tour especially if this is your first time to Rome. All the stops were strategically located around historical monuments and the explanations of each was done well. The employees on the buses were also helpful and very nice. The only negative was the wait times, we typically saw other bus companies 2 or 3 times stop before one of our buses made a stop. But overall, would do this!
It was great!
Maria_A, May 2023
Very easy to take the bus using the App. If is your first time in RoMa I really recommend the Tour Bus.
Good value, great way to see Rome!
Matthew_R, May 2023
Great service, easy to get around Rome, and hop on and hop off as often as you liked. We walked a lot and this was a bit of a saver on the feet after 3 days of sightseeing. Good value, and easy to find the bus stops, with plenty of buses.
Upset
Flor_L, May 2023
The bus tour was canceled on us without previous notice for the May 28 day. I was notified of possible issues for the 27 (I didn’t have reservations for that day) but no email or message about the 28. We found out when we went to take the bus.

The attendants at the stops were helpful. However, the audio recordings were poor and disjointed. The stops are not well located to the sights.
Badly organized and run!
Martha_T, May 2023
We purchased a three day pass and then we’re told that traffic would prohibit buses from running on two of those days. Since the traffic issue was created by a very well known bike race in the city, they should have told us in advance. Instead they waited until we paid for three days saying we could use a later date which did not work with our travel schedule. I asked to exchange my ticket for a two day pass but they indicated that it would take two days to assist me. The directions on how to claim the tickets were extremely confusing and the buses were extremely crowded. There was no way to hop off because we were afraid we would wait for hours to hop back on. Not worth it.

Easy to use. Very clean. Good way to see Historic Rome City Centre including Trevi, Vatican City, collosseum
Long walks to the sites,...
Paul_E, May 2023
Long walks to the sites, but very inexpensive way to cover the city. Taking a car spot to spot would be $200
A View from the Top
Richard_P, May 2023
Riding up top on this bus was a most enjoyable way to do city tours, and to just decide later what sites we wanted to visit and go back to. This combined with the on-going plug-in audio descriptions as we drove really added to the hop-on-hop-off bus experience. We definitely agree that this is the best value for those who like to customize their visits, or just want an overview on their arrival. The drivers were great, especially the attendants that were waiting to help out at the bus stops. This, combined with a reliable regular schedule, has convinced us that the hop-on-hop-off bus is a top choice.
Great way to explore Rome and make new friends.
Roger_H, May 2023
Great way to explore Rome, you get to see everything then you can decide which attractions you would like to visit in more detail which is what we did the next day . The bus is very comfortable and you get to make new friends,
It was fun and nice to...
Logan_G, May 2023
It was fun and nice to have but could get by with just using the metro and walking around. We ended up only using it a little bit compared to the big bus in London.
Poor value
Debi_W, May 2023
We remember most: The long, long walks from the drop point to the site we wanted to see. The brevity of the audio remarks. The poor quality of the audio system. The inability to see any of the sites (except the Colosseum) from the bus. The great expense if the tour bus compared to the low value. If you are reading this, please, please, take the city bus, not this.
The Prefect Choice
Uzma_O, May 2023
Convenience with good customer service, adequate coverage and historical background of the city. We take Big Bus on all our tours and realised why haven’t I reviewed yet! It’s a perfect choice.
Disappointing
Linda_F, May 2023
Information on board was poor. The bus driver made us wait in the rain until exactly 9am to board. Very disappointing. Definitely would not recommend.
Terrible tour
Cheryl_N, May 2023
You really only see the Colessum from the bus. The 7 other sites that are advertised can not be seen! If you get off you are blocks away and almost impossible to get on next bus
Excellent experience
Beverley_M, May 2023
This is the only way to travel around Rome. Hop on and off when ever you want, at designated stops. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. We’ve had an amazing time in Rome and we we’ve back.
Worked great
David_G, May 2023
This was much better and easier than the reviews suggested. The deluxe ticket costs just a little more but gives access to 3 companies. Agent on the sidewalk at each stop. Longest we waited at any stop was less than 10 minutes. You are not dropped off right at the main attractions so you need to be able to navigate on your own a bit. The audio guide is basically worthless so we just used it for transportation and seeing the area while resting a little.
Not the Greatest but ok to get the lay of the land.
Lesley_J, May 2023
The bus did not really run regularly and some stops were much longer than others. Some buses were older with an old sound system. Many sound systems at the seats did not work and some had a very old recording playing. Some newer buses were much better but it is the luck of the draw which you get. I did like that there were employees at every stop for assistance.
Easy way to see the city.
Janice_K, May 2023
Great way to see the city.We took 2 different busses so saw a little different things and information.
INCONVENIENT TOUR
MaDarlene_M, May 2023
We waited long for the bus and when they arrive, there is almost no space in the bus. And there is very limited stops. So it’s either they use more buses on a Sunday or lower the price of the bus ride significantly.
