Excellent tour led by an incredible tour guide. I would say you need to be reasonable fit to do this tour. Lots of walking, steps and slopes to manage. If you can cope with this, then this tour is for you.

I would shorten up some of the explanation of the places. It was very long. I would also add avg amt of steps one will be taking and shoes for walking on large stones.

Fabulous tour. Our guide was lovely. Indepth knowledge including where the films made mistakes. Who knew it wasn't originally called the Coloseum?? Remember photo ID for entry, you definitely need it. We ended the tour in the Forum where you can stay for as long as you want afterwards and truly explore on your own. Really enjoyed it and better than on your own where you don't get the 'expert' knowlegde. There is alot of steps and a fair bit of walking involved so wear comfy shoes!!

If you want to visit Pompeii, this tour handles all of the logistics for you. The guides at Termini station were punctual, friendly and efficient, not only direct you to the correct platform but see you onto the train. In Napoli Centrale the next guide was waiting to take you the short walk to the minibus, and 20 minutes later you're at Pompeii. Our guide Vincenzo (Vince) was very knowledgeable about Pompeii and clearly passionate about the excavations. Be aware the roads in Pompeii site are uneven and not for those unsteady on their feet. Lunch was ok, we missed the tour of the vineyard, were unaware it had started. No pressure to buy wines but personally I'd have preferred to try the traditional Napoli pizza. Overall I'd recommend the tour if only for the speed of transport. Thank you Vince for a great tour.

The guide itself was knowledgeable but I felt dwelled in a few areas longer then needed. I also wanted to explore on my own but it seems like the only way now a days to get into historical sites is through a guide. For that reason I suggest signing up with them. We did get headsets to be able to hear her so I was grateful for that.

This was an amazing tour. Giovanni P. led us through history with immense knowledge. He has two masters degrees in Roman history and it was evident in his factual storytelling. The tour was great, and like many other reviews, too much to see in the allotted time. If you have the time, just do a Colosseum tour on its own and separate the Forum and Hill. If not, then the 2.5-3hr tour is perfect to get a little bit of everything in. Guide spoke perfectly good English, provided great history and knowledge, and answered everyone's questions. It was a beautiful day and the guide allowed a few minutes here and there for pictures throughout the tour. You can stay in the Forum & Hill after the tour is over, but re-entry to the Colosseum was not possible once you leave. No complaints at all!
