  • The exact timings and reservations can vary, dependant on the monument/attractions administration offices availabilities and decisions on the booking day and can be subject to last minute changes. Departure time can differ up to 20 minutes from your selected time.
  • Pets are not allowed inside the venue
  • Please note that from August 6th, 2021, all public museums in Italy will require all visitors above the age of 12 years old to show a valid ID and certification proving that you have either: Been vaccinated with an approved vaccine (Pfizer-BioNtech, Astrazeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Moderna) Been tested (PCR or antigen) with a negative result within the last 48hrs; Recovered from COVID-19, attested by a PCR or antigen test result, at least 15 days and no more than six months old;
  • Refunds will be considered only in severe weather scenarios, or closure of the archaeological park decided by the monument's management
  • The tour reservations have strict timing. To join the tour you are required to be at the meeting point for check-in at least 30 minutes prior to your tour departure time. If you arrive late for the meeting time, it will not be possible to join the group or reschedule, unless you pay for the activity again. As per "No Show" rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
  • Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

    Great guides. Fantastic tour. Highlight of our trip to Rome. Don’t miss this one. Had some trouble finding the meeting point though. Exit Colosseo Station and just inside exit to your right is a set of stairs. Take these up to the road above the metro. This is which the ticket office is found.

    If you go on this tour I would highly recommend asking for George to be your tour guide. He was so informative and had such great history to share the entire tour. He by far made this the best tour we have been on so far!

    We were notified tour was canceled and I haven’t received a response in regards to a refund. Tour cancellations with other tour companies seem to be happening to a lot of people too.

    This tour was delayed by 2 hours which meant we were all so tired by the time it finished at 11.30pm. Was by 2 different tour guides that duplicated information. The Colosseum staff were rude.

    It was amazing. The tour guy was very knowledgeable and nice. When the tour time changed. They emails and called to make sure I was aware. Then there was another guide inside the colosseum that gave all same info as our tour guide. So I could have saved money booing directly to the colosseum. But it was amazing.

    We inadvertently booked this tour with the wrong dates. Viator has refused to refund our $598. We immediately notified Viator of this mistake, days before the tour even began, and to date, Viator has refused to give us our money back. We were not even in Rome on the day of the tour. Absolutely terrible!

    Shockingly dissapointed. Myself and 11 other guests were 10 minutes late because it was extremely difficult to get a taxi on that night. And they refused to wait for us or contact the tour guide so we could catch up. The staff at the desk were rude and unhelpful when we ALL tried to find a solution. But they were happy to take our 100 hundred dollars each.

    The inside part of the tour was fantastic but what I didn’t know was that an hour and a half were spent outside the coliseum and that part was a waste. Also I booked this as a tour with Prosecco and that was not offered. The inside of the colosseum was beautiful though.

    Incredible but the meeting place has to be better planned we lost half of our tour because of this …,location has nothing to do with the coliseum where it is ….it is horrendous it’s way on the other side of it we were lost one hour and we were calling and no one answered!! This is an issue!

    We were not able to get into the Colosseum because only some of the names of the individuals in our tour were on the list to get into the Colosseum. I was on the list but my husband was not. I was not going to go in without him or our 2 other companions who couldn’t get in either. So we paid but never went into the Colosseum. I understand it was not Viator’s miscommunication but we should get some of our money back.

    Our guided tour was first postponed, then delayed, and finally we were denied entry to the Colosseum. There was a miscommunication between the tour operator and the Colosseum security about the approved list of names. This tour was a disaster .
