Sabrina - excellent guide!

I have been to Rome many times and this was the first time I toured underground. It was fascinating and Sabrina taught us an incredible amount regarding Roman. History and waterworks and the stadium under Piazza Navona. We also toured the pantheon together, and her breath and depth of knowledge was impressive. Apart from this, she taught us a lot about Italian culture. Best guide and best tour ever. I highly recommend.

Our tour guide, Amanda, was the best guide we've had yet on any tours of the trip. She was very knowledgeable and communicated a lot of detail in an interesting sometimes cheeky way. While there's mot an extensive amount to see at either of the underground stops, both are interesting and a bit different, not to mention away from the crazy crowds above. We enjoyed it very much.

Maria was our guide. Great tour of under Rome. The reality of how very ancient this city is comes to life with this tour. To see the actual water source of Trevi fountain was very special. We paced our tour to match our small group. Highly recommend

This was a unique tour. We happened to book it on a Sunday when many places are typically closed. It also happened to be raining that day, so this was perfect since many places we stopped at were indoors. Seeing different aspects of ancient Rome underground really tied things together. A downside was that the Pantheon was free admission on the 1st Sunday each month, so the line was long & our tour guide decided to skip it. She said for us to visit it on our after the tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend her & this tour.

This was a great chance to go to some out of the way places and learn some cool stuff about the workings of Ancient Rome. Guide was great, very informative but not drowning us in information, while ready and happy to discuss details from engineering considerations to art. Definitely worth doing!

I learnt so much visiting these sites with our guide and gained insight into each of them that I would not have been able on my own. The bonus was our guide stopping briefly at other sites to explain their function, history and meaning. It was a small group of 6 and felt very personal.

Carolina(think that was our guides name)had excellent knowledge and detail about the Roman history of the Piazza Navona,The Pantheon and the underground stadium etc she gave us more detail than previous tours we had been on, and very friendly too-would recommend!!

Alessandra was a very competent and friendly guide whomgave us a lot of interesting information. The sites we visited (piazza navona, stadium underneath, pantheon, trevi fountain, city of water) were of the most famous sites in Rome. She looked after us very kindly and had planned the whole tour carefully. Thanks a lot for this great experience!

Alexandra our guide was very knowledgeable and loved the history of her city. Which came across in her delivery. Both underground tours were amazing plus the pantheon a tour not to be missed .

Very well done and informative tour. There were only two of us and so the guide was able to focus on the sites and there was plenty of time to answer questions. I would suggest that guides hand out name cards (no contact info needed) so those taking multiple tours as I did can keep track of who did which one.

Going under in Rome

Many people are familiar with the Rome that is above ground, but not the Rome below. This tour will show you the part of Rome largely forgotten, mainly because the city sinks a lot and many places that were once the regular hangouts of ancient Romans were buried and forgotten.

Katerina was a great guide, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Made for a good tour. Be transparent about the tour possibly including the VR component. It worked for ours and was great. Equally if it cannot be guaranteed to be working just say so up front.
