What To Expect

Meet at the central Piazza del Popolo square in Rome to board the air-conditioned coach and set off for Pompeii. Meet your guide at the entrance and breeze past the crowds with skip-the-line tickets, heading straight inside for a 2-hour guided tour of the ancient city’s highlights.

After free time to grab lunch, board the coach to continue south, marveling at views of the Amalfi Coast along the way. Stop in Positano and take two hours to sightsee, shop, or relax over a snack or glass of limoncello and enjoy the view at your own pace. Afterwards, board the coach for the return drive to Rome and drop-off at the departure point.

What a great day. Stunning scenery a long the Amalfi Coast. Wonderful history at Pompeii. Rob our guide was informative with a wealth of knowledge that he shared with us. Would highly recommend this tour.

It was a very long day but Barbara and Angelo made it super pleasant. Barbara had plenty of knowledge and was always ready to help, attentive and friendly. Positano/Amalfi was amazing! Pompei was nice as well but it was bigger then expected. All in all awesome tour made more special by mama Barbara

The trip to Pompaii was very well organized, Viviane was wonderful, helpful and caring to our joy, Carlos our guide in Pompaii was amazing, it is a must visit you should do when in Italy, also the Amalfi Coast and Positano were fun time, I enjoyed it a lot, Thank you everyone!

This is an all day tour read the description prepare for 13hrs. And it's takes something like 3hrs to get to first stop. Bathroom breaks are giving in between. Balling on budget people bring your own snacks so you don't have to buy them at the restroom stops. Eat a good breakfast before hand. If you get cold like me bring a light scarf to deal w cool ac. Our time at positano went quick. I think our group had a small hiccup w a late start. In positato we had 1hr 45 mins ? So you had options to shop. Eat. See beach. Time goes very quick. If i would do again i would get food to go and eat on bus and save my time to walk around. You can also get in water so bring swim suit if you want but tbh time goes so quickly idk if it be worth it to get wet. Barbara was our tour guide. Antonio our driver. Excellent team. Barbara had a huge part in making it so enjoyable. I would love to go on other tours w her. Kind. Knowledgable. And organize. The tour works like a well oiled machine. Pompeii was ok. We had a diff tour guide who was not as enthusiastic and a little rushed and very thick Italian accent. And it was at end of day I was getting tired. In general be prepared to walk a lot. I walked over 13,000 steps on this day. I would do it all again

This was one of the best experiences from our trip. Our guide, Antonino was amazing. He shared some really interesting informations with us during the trip and he was super helpful when we asked any questions. He also truly cared about us having a great time in the trip but also in general in Rome. He was very patient, he even helped a girl find her phone that she thought she lost! When we arrived at Pompeii our other guide Enrico was just as good. He was hilarious and friendly and did a great job making us feel like we were walking in the ancient city of Pompeii all these years back. Thanks a lot for this amazing experience much love from Greece! -The Greek Girls! :)

Claudia was absolutely amazing. She was very friendly and interactive with all the tourists. It was great to see how she able to communicate speaking different languages. I really enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to all my friends and family.

At the outset, our experience encountered a hiccup at the plaza with an organizer who seemed to be still in need of her morning coffee, evident from her somewhat curt demeanor. However, upon joining Antonino's group, the day quickly brightened. Antonino's expert guidance not only shed light on our destinations but also enriched our understanding, turning potential frustrations into engaging discoveries. Pompeii welcomed us with unexpected charm, complemented by our guide's witty commentary (his name was Enrico) that added a lively dimension to the historical tour. Upon reaching Positano, the breathtaking vistas unfolded before us, captivating our senses with their beauty.

Peter was a fantastic and funny tour guide. Paolo was a great driver. Pompeii is a must see - not at all what I imagined. You will be taken back 2000 years to a full fledged town that is frozen in time. Positano was beautiful as well!! Please bear in mind that this tour is about 4.5 hours of sightseeing and 8.5 hours of driving. Sit on the right hand side of the bus going to Positano for the most amazing views. This tour is not for young children!!! We had two families on board - we could tell the children were bored.

I visited Rome but I also wanted to visit Pompeii, Amalfi Coast, and Positano. What can I say? I love red wine and I love pasta. I had a fabulous day and the tour guide, Sabina, was incredible. She made sure everybody was enjoying the trip. She made herself available for whatever the trip participants needed. We met Michele, another tour guide, in Pompeii and he was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the history of excavation sites. I could tell that both tour guides enjoy their job The trip was interesting and eye opening. OMG, the view was truly breathtaking.

Had a great trip with Claudio as our driver. His suggestion for lunch was phenomenal. The limoncello tasting was fun. He definitely knew his way around the area. Lilia was our guide at Pompei and she gave us a memorable tour with lots of history of Pompei. So happy we booked this small group tour and highly recommend Claudio and Lilia for their best efforts. The small group tour is the best way to see this area.

City Wonders are just that, Wonderful! The tour was great, and our host, Enrico, did a fantastic job in keeping us entertained during the bus rides. He also provided great little insights about Italian culture, and thar wad greatly appreciated. The bus driver was also very good, even while driving through tight places. Positano was beautiful, with great food, gorgeous sights and a cold breeze (we went there in April 24). The Pompeii tour was also very memorable. We had Giovanni as a tour guide, and he was extremely knowledgeable about the intrinsicallities of the Pompeyan civilization. His explanations made me wish we would have more time, as Pompeii is enormous and you can't see it all in just one hour and half, but Giovanni made it memorable by pointing out the key aspects of the Pompeyan customs.
