Best way to see Vatican with Viator.

When we drove up to the Vatican, we were blown away at the lines to get in. We walked right in with our guide. She was amazing, smart and funny. The Chaple is breathtaking. You must see it when you are in a Rome.
Fabulous experience, great guides

Emma was fabulous. So knowledgeable and navigated us through very well. I loved the amount of time spent at each location. Of course it would be nice to have more time but it was not feasible with the crowds. Deeper dive into a few features was nice, there’s so much to see. I would recommend this to any English speaker. Very thorough and well done. Having a native English speaker tour guide made a big difference from other tours I’ve done.
Amazing tour!!

The line to get into the museums and basilica when we went on a Friday were up to 4 hours long. Being a part of a tour group got us in in under 10 minutes. Our guide was so knowledgeable and nice. If I had not of booked a tour, I would’ve been wandering in the museums with no idea what I was looking at. Highly recommend!!

The Vatican is a must see and the experience is just beautiful. St. Peter's Basilica and the Sistine Chapel left us awestruck. We did have a tour guide who was a bit confrontational (in the most polite way) If you know you know. Otherwise a perfect day :)
Fun & Informative Tour

Our guide Daniela was great! We thoroughly enjoyed her insight and the entire tour! It was very crowded the day we went, so being able to skip the lines was so nice!
It was very crowded even...
Danielle_M, Mar 2024
It was very crowded even though we were considered off-season. Emma did a great job of guiding us to places we could actually talk and be efficient with our time. Definitely worth it to do a small group tour!

John was very hospitable and informative of the Vatican and it's history. My group of 7 had a wonderful time taking in the sights and getting our questions answered. I enjoyed the little touches of showing print outs or images from an iPad to see the details in what was discussed.
Great tour

Mario was a spectacular guide. He is exceptionally knowledgeable in the history of the art, buildings, and people and made the tour interesting and entertaining. His instructions were clear and compassionate since I was hobbling a little from an injury.

Excellent tour, one of the highlights of our trip to Rome. Well organised and our guide, Eugene, was fantastic. It can be hard to know if you are booking the right tour in Rome due to the sheer amount of options but be assured this is one of the best.

Our tour guide, Mario, was great! He was a wealth of knowledge about the Vatican and the many pieces of art. He also gave an excellent tour of St. Peter’s Basilica
Mario made the tour more memorable and interesting.
Lauren_M, Mar 2024
We had Mario as our tour guide. He is an amazing guide with great story telling! So good at explaining all the parts of the tour. You have got to book this tour. It’s Fantastic. Wear comfortable shoes, as it can take 3hrs, to do tour all 3 parts. Oh and you have got to book a guided tour to get the skip the line. Be prepared for lots of stairs. Honestly Was the best tour ever. Loved every minute. Thank you Mario.
Unforgettable

The tour of the Vatican was incredible! Our guide, Sylvio, was so knowledgeable, friendly and fun. I appreciated being in a small group so we could all ask any questions that we had. Thank you for a life-long memory!

Clarissa_R, Mar 2024
Great way to see the highlights of the Vatican and get a little history. You can see some of the museums see the Sistine chapel and St. Peter’s basilica. Skip the line helps avoid the crazy long lines that happen even in the off season.
Tour led by art and history genius
Edmund_L, Mar 2024
My wife and I went on a tour led by Mario. Mario was extremely personable and knowledgeable about art and the history of Vatican City. He had exceptional story telling skills and kept the entire group engaged for the whole time. Mario was also great at keeping the group together despite the big crowds. Finally, the expedited entry was worthwhile considering the long queues.
