While the Vatican Museums are equipped with elevators for wheelchair access, they are not conveniently located on the group tour route and only give access to specific sections of the Museums. As a result, we cannot accommodate wheelchairs on this tour.

Great experience on Vatican Tour

Daniela our guide was really informative and led us through the Vatican Museam explaining the history behind all the exhibits and was able to add some humour . Having seen the amount of people there I don’t think you could do this any other way

Wonderful tour of Vatican, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter’s! We highly recommend this tour if you want to skip the very long lines and get special access to certain areas of the museum otherwise not accessible to all guests. Our guide Daniela, was very knowledgeable, managed the crowds well and provided interesting background throughout the tour. Our Guide was extremely knowledgeable and told us details and stories that provided important information so we could understand the art and sculpture in context. The crowds were huge, however that is to be expected as so many want to see these sights. A tour is definitely the way to go to get the maximum benefits from this experience.

Our tour guide, Mario, was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, funny and offered us an informative tour. Mario got us through the enormous crowds to see the most important areas. I couldn’t imagine doing this on our own and finding our way around or fully understanding what we were looking at.

Great tour but a lot of walking and standing. If you can’t do hours of both don’t do this tour

The meeting point (What a Life Tours office) was easy to find. Tatiana was our guide. We did skip the line! She explained things well prior to entering the Vatican museums so you knew what to look for. The Rafael room (I understand) isn’t always part of the tour but somehow we saw it. The Sistine chapel needs no explanation. You cannot believe you’re seeing the work of one man. I cried when I saw La Pieta which I did not know was in the Basilica. We paid the extra 8/10euros to climb the dome (10 if you take the elevator 1/2 way). All around amazing and worth the cost!!

Excellent tour! Our tour guide Cinzia was fantastic and made history come alive , adding interesting facts and backstory about the different pieces of art we were seeing. She also had some funny anecdotes as well. As promised, it was a small group (12) and we did indeed bypass the lines. I can’t imagine how much we would have missed if we had decided to see the Vatican on our own. I would highly recommend this tour and especially Cinzia. Thank you for a great afternoon!
