    Your tour meets at the Fat Tire Tours office, located at Via dei Delfini 35/36, 00186 Rome. We are located about 150 meters from Piazza Venezia (a 5 minute walk) and 1.5 km from the Colosseum (approximately a 15 minute walk). Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure.

We loved our tour guide and felt she was knowledgeable and informative without making the tour feel scripted in any way. The bikes were in good condition and easy to use as well - highly recommend Elainia (sp?) and the private tour she gives!

Avoid a Friday evening tour

The highlight for me was having a police car rush along a very narrow street coming so close to hitting me and a few others in the group. The cobblestone roads was slick and when I tried to stop I went down. The guide was traveling too fast and had no idea it had happened since he was too far ahead of the group. It was a very crowded night and since there was a free concert that Friday evening it made it worse. The bikes were older but in decent shape for the use they experience. Lots of time was given at stops along the way for pictures and looking around. I would recommend this tour but not on a Friday evening.

We traveled as a group of four (two couples). This was the best tour we did of Rome. Our tour group ended up being just the four of us. Our lovely guide was fabulous! She provided us with very informative and interesting information about the sites we visited. We were aged 48, 50 and 2 x 62 years old. The riding was easily handled by us and not dangerous. We all highly recommend this tour!

We had the most amazing time with Marita! She was very knowledgeable and fun - she was also so helpful when we asked questions or were looking for recommendations. My family came down to celebrate my parents 30th anniversary and this was definitely one of our favourite tours we did in our 3 weeks. Great way to see/enjoy the city! Definitely recommend :)

Excellent tour. Great way to see and learn about Rome. Sara was excellent and so knowledgeable. We covered so much in those three hours. Thank you so much for reaching out to us when we were running a couple minutes late due to traffic. Greatly appreciate, others would have not cared and leave us behind.

3 hour bike tour was a wonderful experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kept reminding the group about safety and navigation throughout the tour. We were I transit for few hours and this tour out to be the best way to spend 3 hours city sightseeing. There was a washroom, water, and cabinet to leave your backpack etc at the office.

Able to accommodate our big group of 10 with 6 kids 7-15, at short notice - Federico was a fantastic guide. Locally born and raised, with excellent English and local and historical knowledge of Rome. He guided us safely through the crowds with ease, organised toilet stops, drinks and easy access, tops and views to key attractions. Having been on many bike tours he’s one of the best guides and an avid photographer who took some terrific photos. This is a magnificent way to tour Rome 🙏

We took our family on this cruise through Rome with kids aging 3-6. They were so helpful getting us all situated and it was a great way for our busy family to see all the sights but miss the lines and extending walking from location to location. I would do a bike tour again of cities with our family. What a beautiful place with lots of history!
