Traveler Tips
Don't use this if you schedule an appointment for a tour.
Go on the first day of your tour and not before because the vouchers will start as soon as you get onto the bus .
The buses are frequent so not long to wait until one comes along.

Great way to get around Rome and see the sites first
Amos_L, Nov 2023
A great way to see all the sights and map out a plan of attack as to what you want to do 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. Also a great way to get around to see the sites and then hop back on for the next sites you want to see. Of course, once you hop off at a stop, you will find lots of things to do and you will have a short walk from the bus stop to your sites. But not a big problem at all. We did the 72 hour ticket but I'm not sure we needed that much time and would probably go for either a 24 or 48 hour ticket next time. The busses were all clean and we had no problems with the audio guides or headphones.
Convenient
Michael_O, Nov 2023
It is what it is. A convenient way to see the city and get around, especially of you only have one day. It's easy to find but have your tickets printed (not the pdf voucher) ahead of time. Avoid the street vendors in red smocks selling tickets and go to one of their staffs in red polos to assist you in printing your tickets.
Lack of customer service!
Gudrun_G, Nov 2023
The unprofessional service of whoever was on the phone. The individual was not knowledgeable enough to handle the issue. Said he would query and haven’t heard a thing!
Not as good as other European bus tours
Amanda_B, Oct 2023
Worst European bus tour. Sound not that good on the bus, not very enthusiastic talk, didn’t visit many areas and not very informative
Great family fun
DAVID_P, Oct 2023
Great way to spend an hour or two, seeing the wonderful city of Rome. The buses were frequent clean and the information very clear and understandable.
Low price value
Alejandro_E, Oct 2023
Too expensive for just one hour. Originally it was mentioned that the trip was longer..
Low price value, considering the price of a whole day compared to this one.
Would not repeat
BARBARA_S, Oct 2023
The directions said to go to Stop 1 to check in, but that was a long way from our hotel. We purchased Metro tickets to get to the spot closest to Stop 1, but actually got on at Stop 2. The operator was rather rude and, when giving us a long receipt, said to BE SURE NOT TO LOSE THESE. The upper level of the bus was full, so we sat in the lower. Could see nothing through the windows that had lots of black dots on them (why? to keep down sun or what?). The air buds worked, but the announcement was spoken so fast and clipped we really could not understand. We got off after one stop. We walked to the INFO center, where the man was very helpful. We said we needed a map. He offered the same one given on the bus. We wanted a better map. Fortunately, he had them. The map and Metro were all we used the rest of the trip.
Easy to use
Frances_G, Oct 2023
The first bus stop we used was very crowded, but the workers kept order and kept things moving. Easy to use once we learned what signs to look for. Drivers and workers were pleasant and helpful. An easy way to get around when we were tired of waking.
Late bus
Mary_F, Oct 2023
Terrible, I am asking for a full refund. We waited at the designated stop to pickup the bus for over 45 min. The bus never came. We knew at that time we would not have enough time to utilize the tickets I had. If the bus was on schedule we would have had plenty of time. The delay ruined our trip. We didn’t get to see any of the sites we wanted to. I am asking for a full refund.
Not so easy to hop on and off
jaclynmwatts, Oct 2023
We never were able to get our bus ticket validated. Everyone said the next bus would do it. It was fine for what we paid for.
Great way to view the city
Randy_M, Oct 2023
It was a great way to view & enjoy the city
Earphones provided to view the city
Very helpful plus you can jump on & off the bus.
Lovely night tour
Patsy_B, Oct 2023
It was a lovely night and an enjoyable tour
Headsets let you adjust volume to your needs. All upper deck seats. Great
Frustrated
John_H, Oct 2023
Busses very crowded, and it was not clear about the route and how to get tickets. There are several lines owned by the same company. Fortunately the guy let us on another bus than the tickets we were supposed to get.
Great way to see the city, very crowded.
Allen_C, Oct 2023
A great way to see the city. The only issue is how many people are trying to use it. Some stops can take 30 minutes to get back on the bus. You have to be careful but I would still recommend.
Long wait for first bus
Susanna_L, Oct 2023
1 hour wait for first bus then when finally got on had to stand until the next stop so couldn't hear the audio.
Wonderful private tour experience!
Lauren, Oct 2023
We did the tour of the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, and Colosseum with our ticket. We ended up being the only ones to book that tour, so we had a private guide! Genevra was absolutely fantastic. Knew about every little thing about every ruin and artifact. She really made our experience in Rome wonderful!
As for the bus itself, there were LONG lines. We only hopped on once and got off at Trevi. It’s good that there are three different buses, though. That helps.
We went through the...
Judy_P, Oct 2023
We went through the excursion two times. You could update the music so that you variety of selections are played for at least a half an hour. We heard the same songs over and over and over again. It was a beautiful day, and we received good information.
Worth the fare
Shirley_B, Oct 2023
The bus gave a great overview of Rome's sights. We were able to get some good photos from the upstairs. No pressure to get off at any point. Recorded tour on audio was very helpful.
Disappointed.
Kimberly_G, Oct 2023
Purchased tickets online prior to trip but was unable to utilize the tickets because all the busses were full and the lines to get on an off where very long.
Great way to see the city.
Leah_K, Oct 2023
