What To Expect

Your tour starts with pickup from your hotel in central Rome.

If you choose the full-day package, you will have a day-long narrated journey to as many of the top attractions in central Rome as time allows.

Board your comfortable, covered, street-legal golf cart and follow a custom itinerary based on your interests.

Zip by traffic and access side streets to reach heavy hitters such as Piazza Navona, the Circus Maximus, and the Villa Borghese, as well as less-visited sites such as the Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli and the Garden of Oranges.

Stop for lunch at a local restaurant and continue the tour, which likely ends with catching marvelous city views from the top of Caelian Hill.

If you choose the other packages, you will have about 2.5–3 hours to see as many top sights and hidden gems in central Rome as time permits.

This was an awesome way to see the highlights of Rome, and we got lucky to see them at sunset! The tour can be tailored to what you want to see, so we bypassed the Colosseum and Forum as we had toured them that morning. Our guide, Helena, was amazing and so knowledgeable. She was also so sweet to take our picture at each stop! We lucked out and were the only ones on the tour, so we got to see everything we asked for! Would do this again!

This tour was great! Our driver was very informative. Three hours will give you a good sampling of the highlights for Rome. You will not spend long at the attractions, but as it is private this can be adjusted based on your parties wishes. It was great to be able to weave down the narrow roads that cars can't get down! If you need a break from walking, or just want something different I would very much recommend this tour.

Highly recommend booking this tour! We scheduled this tour for the afternoon of our arrival in Rome. They picked us up at the hotel, and it was a perfect way to get an overview of the city! Luca was our guide, he spoke excellent English, so we had no problem communicating with him. He took us to several sites and gave us time to enjoy each one, we had delicious gelato and he offered many tips for what else to see and what to avoid.

We were picked up by our Guide Angelica from our apartment which was very helpful for us. As we had been to The Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum we left the Itinerary to Angelica. Her knowledge of Rome and its history is second to none. She took us to areas we would never have seen on a bus or walking. The highest part of the city and the Jewish district were the highlights. What a view from the top of the hill behind the Vatican. Buying us some Gelato was a nice touch. Angelica is bubbly and chatty and can whiz around on the Golf Cart. We really enjoyed her company. As we told her the Irish are also a chatty nation. She is excellent at her job , knows her history and we would highly recommend her. She also gave us some recommendations for restaurants and where to find a taxi rank. Thanks Angelica for making our afternoon so special.

This was the BEST decision we made when planning our trip to Rome - had only 2.5 days scheduled and decided this was best option so we could see many of the must see locations and not feel we missed out - by far Angelo our tour guide was AMAZING - ask for him - friendly energetic - knowledgeable - literally like taking a tour with a friend - our tour started when he picked us up at our air BnB near the Colosseum at 10:00am - there was a Catholic church - right? in Rome? literally around the corner from where we stayed that he said he had heard about and wondered could we start there? 5 minutes later we are in an Amazing chapel off a side street and touring abandoned underground ruins thousands of years old - the day only got better - spent 7 hours - Spanish steps - Trevi fountain - the Forum...great lunch included - great Gelato store included - smaller hidden churches - literally showed us Rome in a few hours - just the 4 of us - went to small markets - could not have asked for a better way to tour Rome and could not have asked for a better guide - thank you Angelo - we had a great time and the picture with you and the fresh garlic rope is awesome!
