    Vatican Museum tour
    Walter_B, Oct 2023
This was a difficult tour for the guide as the hearing apparatus was not very efficient and we were constantly surrounded by throngs of other tourists. This made it very difficult to hear what our guide was saying.
    Good for skip the line
    Jamie_W, Sep 2023
I accidentally booked the Italian guide when I needed English. Was a little bummed but then discovered that there are audio guides for only 8 euro once you are inside. It ended up being worth it for the skip the line feature and then grabbing an English audio guide.
Good tour guide but not worth a money.
    John_W, Sep 2023
Felt very rushed for a 2 1/2 hour tour did get to see much of the Vatican City museums. Tour guide was really good had a lot of information. Not really worth the money tbh. You might be better buying a ticket and walking round on your own.
The guide was very knowledgeable, but relied way to much on his picture folder and was difficult to hear and understand.
    SUE_K, Sep 2023
It was wonderful to see the colosseum. The history was amazing. Our guide was knowledgeable, however relied to heavily on his picture binder.
    Disappointing
    Jeanne_P, Aug 2023
We were highly dissatisfied as the microphone connection to all tour participants headsets were malfunctioning and ineffective. Upon contacting your company we were told this was the responsibility of the Vatican? It was quite an expensive and disappointing experience missing the narrated info that was expected to be provided.
    Response from Host, Aug 2023
As already told you the dvices are provided by the Vatican Museum. We would love to use pur devices but the Museum requires that tour operator companies use obbligatory their devices under an extra payment. The guide is equipped with more devices in case one or more don't work properly. You should have to ask to the guide to change your hearphone with another. But I only think you wrote this review because you couldn't get a refund.....
If your a history buff, you love it.

The first 45min was waiting on tour guide to show up and walk us from our rendezvous point to museum entry. So wasn't for me in particular.
    Marta is Great!
    Carrie_B, Jul 2023
Marta was an amazing tour guide! She was very knowledgeable and personable. She was also funny. She accounted for the guests needs making sure to keep guests in the shade due to the extreme heat. Her English was easy to understand. Five stars for sure!!
    Tour guide was good...
    Joanne_R, Jul 2023
Tour guide was good however I could not really hear what he was saying - so quite disappointing - and we kept loosing him as he wasnt very identifiable amongst all the people he needed to holding up a sign saying what group he was.
    Good experience!
    Luca_V, Jul 2023
It was a very nice experience! Skip-the-line worked super good. We got to see everything what we wanted and the guide was very nice!
    Bad
    Liat_B, Jul 2023
The guide of the tour did not show up and we ended doing everything by ourselves. It was highly disappointing
    Knowledgeable guide
    Sheri_T, Jul 2023
Marta was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. Sometimes it was hard to hear her with the headphones and the group was a little too large to keep close in the crowds.
Would not recommend! Very poor tour guide.
    Samuel_P, Jul 2023
We booked a tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. The tour guide allocated spoke very broken and poor English. Language barrier aside, the tour guide manically jumped from work of art to statue with little to no real explanation. The whole tour was vertically incoherent. Our thoughts were shared by the rest of the people on the tour, that by the end she had lost all but 4 of her original 29 guests. The whole experience ruined our time at the Vatican - on that basis I can not recommend this tour operator.
Impressive historical tour - too busy!
    Darren_R, Jul 2023
We enjoyed the visit overall however there were elements that weren’t great. Firstly, the profit the companies are making on top of the entrance fee is excessive. We paid £122 for the tour however the entrance tickets if you buy yourself are only €17. Additionally, the Vatican must only be interested in revenue as there were way too many people crammed in like cattle in the museums. On a positive note, our guide was excellent. The audio equipment provided solely by the Vatican wasn’t. Poor reception and kept dropping out. Museum buildings and Sistine Chapel were very impressive as well as St Peter’s Basilica.
Complete tour of the Vatican in a nutshell.
    Batina_W, Jul 2023
Great 2-3 hour tour. You see everything and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. I cannot recall his name but he made sure everyone in our group stayed together. At the end you could either leave Vatican City or visit the Basillica. He clearly identified the exit locations. Thank you! #onceuponatime tours👍🏽
    Hot and crowded
    William_S, Jul 2023
Guide - Rudy and tour was great. Super crowded and hot. Rudy was organized, knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!
Very informative and worth seeing but not on high traffic heat wave day
    Lorraine_R, Jun 2023
We went on a Wednesday the Pope addressed the public and the skip the line lines were very long, the museum was very crowded and we couldn't stay long enough for the chapel because of the delays
    ExcellentTour
    Carina_M, Jun 2023
Marta was wonderful. She gave us an amazing tour. So kind and patient there was a delay to start but it had nothing to do with her. She made it an amazing experience for my family.
If you do this, tour you will be exhausted and very disappointed
    John_P, May 2023
The tour is very crowded and it is easy to get pushed around and away from the tour guide. The tour guide scratched his microphone and door was so far away. We couldn’t hear him most of the time. Every time the tour guide said I’m gonna stop here for a minute and explain some thing we could never catch up enough to hear what he was saying. We virtually ran through the antiquity section. I was taking pictures as fast as I could walk not sure how they’ve turned out. Avoid this tour and just go to Saint Peter’s by yourself. The Sistine chapel is so crowded it’s hard to look at anything. And then they warn you about pickpockets!
    Overall the tour was...
    JENNY_W, Jul 2022
Overall the tour was exactly what we would expect . You saw what you paid for . And it was overall well organized. I did not like the fact that we had paid 220.00 for our tour tickets (which was as expected) but then we checked in at the tour agency, we were charged another 10.00 per person, equaling 40.00 on top of what we had already paid . We were not told we had to pay another fee. They only took cash and it seemed very sketchy to me . I feel that if this extra charge wasn’t a scam, we should of been told before hand.

Dear Mrs Jenny Wells, I am happy to know that you appreciated our service and the guided tour inside the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel. We work a lot to grant a good service and I'm glad to know that you appreciated it. The extra payment required at the meeting point is clearly written online in the section titled "What's included / what's not included". You find this information before to book and it is written on your confirmation voucher as well, I'm sorry you didn't see it. We check your booking conditions at your arrival and we show you where you could find it. I hope to meet you again in your next trip to Rome!
