Very disappointed

We were supposed to have this tour at 10 a.m. but our tour guide did not show up. We did not receive any notification of this cancellation so the morning was a total waste of time. We never got to have our tour of at all. This was very disappointing although we did receive a full refund.

Highly recommend! This fast paced tour provided a thorough history with ample time for questions. We had a lovely, humorous guide (can’t remember her name) who was a wonderful Italian teacher and shared her love of Rome. Perfect for couples or family with children. We loved Rome❤️
SCAM!

Tour guide never showed up, there was no communication to any of the people that showed up at the meeting place. All other tours were sold out that day and the next, so we never got to experience any of these venues. Upon telling others about our story many locals said this is a scam company and cancels more tours than they put on. When we phoned the company the guy said he wasn't coming and to get a refund from Viator and hung up.

I am requesting a full refund. There were about 12 of us who showed up on time at the location for this tour. Your tour guide did not show up. We were then informed that the company that you contracted with, MEA tours events often times did not show up for their tours. One of the people in our party was able to reach someone with a Viator at the time and found out that the tour had been canceled by MEA. We were never advised and I want my money back which is $260.76. Thank you. Lynn 858-245-9280

Tour guide was a no show. Everyone spent precious time waiting and then had to scramble to try to see a few places. Do not use this company. Our other Viator tour was also cancelled, leaving us stranded at the last minute. So unprofessional.

I got ripped off by this vendor. The guide did not show up at the meeting point. The staff working at the Pantheon confirmed that this vendor in particular rips people off. We ended up having to request a refund and pay 100 euros outside the colosseum for a 1 hour tour… STAY AWAY!!!

Our tour guide did not show up. There were a total of -0 people who booked this tour and we all waited for 45 minutes with no response from the tour guide. Very disappointed.
Tickets not available, then partially. Glad we were able to enter at all, despite losing half a day.

Met at the prescribed time in the morning. Were told that not bookings were available for morning, were offered a complimentary, but not very informative tour of the surroundings of the Pantheon and promised tickets were available in the afternoon. Met again, when entering Forum Romanum it became clear, that there were new issues: A few adult tickets were missing and a few people would need to join the next group. We were told this just after leaving Forum Romanum (where we were rushed through). This was a pretty bad idea, because otherwise volunteers could have spent the time there. After heated discussions, our family had to split, with one parent waiting approx. 60mins outside of Forum Romanum and Colosseum. All in all a bad experience, we are glad we were able to get in at all, but effectively lost more than half a.day of a 3-days stay in Rome, and due to the emotions in the group probably a few years of lifetime. Do not recommend.

Need to claim damages as the tour guide didn’t turn up and there was no communication from Viator or the guide whatsoever, leaving an entire group disappointed and loss of the day

Tour did not happen, service provider stopped providing services for Viator two weeks ago, yet Viator charged my credit card and never notified participants that there would be NO tour. 15 people were waiting for the tour and no one showed.

We waited at the meeting point for 20 minutes after the start time only to find out that the tour provider had gone out of business 2 weeks prior. We still received reminders for the trip from Viator in the days prior to our tour.

This was the worst experience we had on our trip. Our tour guide never showed up. When we tried calling, the number did not work. When we called viator directly, they did not help us. Still waiting on a refund. Do not recommend.

If there was an option for zero stars, it would be appropriate since there was zero tour. The guide did not show up. After waiting and waiting, we gave up. We did not get a chance to see any of the top sights in Rome because of this SCAM. Viator needs to do something about this.
