Customers have a mandatory meeting time stated 25 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time due to managing and organizational reasons.
The Colosseum management does not distribute individeual tickets. We will have one group tickets for the entrire group. For this reason, we cannot give individual tickets to late arrivals.
PLEASE NOTE: as for the Colosseum new management, it might take few minutes to grab tickets for kids (if any of them are in the group) so the activity can suffer 20/30 min variation due to organizational reasons
The order in which the sites are visited during the tour can vary
You must have a valid photo ID to enter the Colosseum (student's ID, Driver License, Passport or State ID all work.) You will be asked to also provide your name, last name and date of birth (at the beginning of the tour, if not provided beforehand.) Security may prevent you from entering the site if the information provided is not accurate and/or don't match the one on your ID.
Discounts for children under 18 years is applied only with a valid ID card!
Please note that for safety reasons the Colosseum can accommodate up to 3.000 people at once.This could lead to delays in access to the site, even for pre-booked visitors.
For security reasons all visitors and their luggage shall be screened.

In which case, we will offer an alternative itinerary as it seems fit and offer a partial refund

Good but misleading to state very few people

Good way to Skip the queues and guide was good. But it’s misleading to say you get to see the Sistine chapel etc with very few people. Even though our tour started at 730 because we started with St Peter’s and then has to walk to the Vatican and go through all the rooms, we only reached the Sistine chapel around 1015 when it was heaving. Still, better than queuing and good to have a guide.

Easy to find meeting point. Tour started on time. Queueing with everyone else but that went quite fast. Very knowledgeable guide to point out and explain things we might have missed otherwise. Absolutely packed out though in last week of May, still fabulous to see.

Ancient Rome! What a fantastic way to experience it. The guide we had was knowledgeable and very passionate about what he was showing us. He explained things very well and very thoroughly. It felt like a university level history class! And we saw every amazing thing we hoped to see. I would have given this tour a 5 star review however it was so difficult and frustrating to find the tour guide. The meeting place was on the upper level, which being tourists we didn’t know about. Then we didn’t know how to get up there. Once up there our tour did not have an obvious flag… we asked five different groups before we found ours. Knowing this is an activity for tourists the web site and the instructions should have been much more clear about the meeting place. We were 40 minutes early arriving but it took us another 20 to find the group!

Our flight was delayed over 5 hours and we were not able to contact to cancel because I would have had to have a Time Machine to do so. We never made it to the tour because we were still in the airport and they refused to give us our money back. Do not use them!!!!

Guide was very knowledgable. He pulled out his book and showed pictures of what things were like in Roman times as he explained them which added a nice dimension to the experience. By last 3rd I was getting quite tired and hot so my attention waned and I paid less attention as I was busy taking pix in the forum. But he gave out a lot of information if you gravitate towards the history of it all. I wish the underground was included but those seem to sell out well in advance. Overall I'm satisfied with the experience.

It was a good tour... after "waiting 40 minutes" to enter. (This was not our tour guides fault; sorry, but forgot her name.) There were about 42 people, so we were split up into two groups. However, certain couples had the wrong entrance tickets, etc., and was suppose to go with the "other" tour guide, not ours. Otherwise, it was a good tour. Of course, our family of 5, would have liked "less" information about the Colosseum; over 30 minutes of information, was a little too much for us. (Would have liked more time, to look around on our own.) The Palatine Hill and Roman Forum however....was great, and we enjoyed all the sights! (Just a note, there's many steps to climb; so it's a bit of a workout.) I would recommend... only check first, you're in the "correct" group, with no entry ticket issues.

Andrea Andrea was such an amazing tour guide today, he was so knowledgeable and personable, and made sure we all could hear him clearly during each of the stops along the tour today we would definitely recommend this, but be prepared for long lines at the Colosseum, those are unavoidable, and plenty of time to tour, the Roman forum and Ballantyne. He’ll even be on the designated tour time on your own if you’d like, definitely recommend this, there is no better way to tour the states that to have in a Storico tour guide, who is as passionate about his job as Andrea was.

Our guide was very kind and knowledgeable, but it was unfortunately a little unorganized. Our tour was supposed to start at 3pm and last for 3 hours. We didn’t leave the meeting place until 10 after. The guide mentioned we’d get the radios/headsets once we got inside the colosseum, but he kept trying to give us information while we were waiting in line and it was hard to hear. We did not get into the colosseum until 3:45. Then we had to wait because while passing out the headphones it was realized that there weren’t enough. We did not have headphones/really step inside the colosseum until 4pm. The weather started to look gloomy so I don’t know if the guide started to speed up because of that, but we were outside of the colosseum by 4:30pm. We breezed through the Roman forum. It started raining (not too heavy) and the guide was good about positioning us under trees while talking so that was good. But then the tour was done by 5:30, which with the late start it felt like the tour wasn’t that long at all. Overall, it was just an ok tour.

The tour was pretty good. Our Russian tour guide Katerina was sweet and had great knowledge. The head sets did not work but she tried everything to make it work. I don’t know why the head sets didn’t work and we weren’t able to use them. The tour was pretty fast but she went threw everything in the colosseum and the roman forum but we did not have time for the palatine hill which was optional to go if we had time. Our kids learned a ton and she tried her best to make it fun for everyone.
