Excellent Tour!!!!
Arthur_H, Apr 2024
An excellent, excellent tour!! Fulvia is knowledgeable and patient - and loves her country and heritage. We spent about 90 minutes in the Coliseum and 2 hours in the Forum and Palantine Hill. The views were AMAZING! Fulvia’s knowledge of the history is unmatched. This is the best guided tour my wife and I have ever been in!! We would give this tour 6 stars if we could. There is a lot of climbing on steep steps - some without handrails - not recommended for small children.
Dream trip
Melissa_R, Apr 2024
Just getting to see the Colosseum. I have been wanting to go to Italy for a while now. But COVID hit so I had to wait to make sure all was open if I made the trip.
A must
Justin_D, Apr 2024
A must, the guides knowledge and obvious love for his culture provided the best narration to the magnificent ancient sites. Navigation through the masses was invaluable.
Worth it anyway
Billie_J, Mar 2024
It was not a skip-the-line experience. Our guide was very kind; however, she had a synopsis version of historical information on these sites.
Recommend if your coming to Rome
Tommy_B, Mar 2024
The tour of the Colosseum. It was amazing and our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. She explained everything at a good pace and we were able to take great pics.

Thank you for the positive review! We are glad you enjoyed the tour and hope you enjoyed Rome!
History lesson
Jeff_B, Mar 2024
The guides knowledge was immense... on all items relating to the colosseum, the forum, the patheon or anything else.

Alfredo was an awesome tour guide who explained the history of all sites we visited and made the tour so interesting. He was so warm and accommodating and we highly recommend him. Thank you!

Having a guided tour gives you a greater understanding of the history of the place you are visiting bringing your visit to life. It also has the added benefit of reducing your time stood in line.
Best your yet

The best of all my tours! Our guide was the best and very informative! Have a mini history lesson as we started, made all the difference in viewing the sights!
Informative, well paced and enjoyable tour.
Fergal_M, Sep 2023
Our guide was friendly, welcoming, funny and full of detail. A very well paced tour considering the amount of ground covered and our guide was able to answer every question asked. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and considered it worth every penny.
Ancient Rome Coliseum tour
Virginia_G, Sep 2023
Gill did a fabulous job of leading us around the Ancient Rome areas. The education of the history of Ancient Rome, Coliseum and the Pantheon is amazing. Gill made the day very interesting.
Fun and informative!
Jackie_A, Aug 2023
Gil did a phenomenal job of giving us a tour and sharing great info! He made it educational and so much fun! The young lady who organized everyone before the tour was great too! It seemed a little confusing though as they were splitting up our group according to the preprinted tickets to get in, and then keeping our group separated for 10 minutes before going in… must be a better way to not split up the groups within the same tour time!!
Walking tour of Roman History.
Nancy_S, Aug 2023
Awesome tour guide. Very interesting history. I got lost but they found me. No one's fault but mine. I would say that a family of eight needs to take a private tour. My getting lost was easy compared to them.
The Tour that Didn't Happen
Patricia_H, Aug 2023
We rushed through the rain to get to this tour only to be told that it was cancelled. I'll give the tour one star since they did at least send a polite young man to tell us there would be no tour, he did give us the entry tickets and they did refund half of the money we had paid. Since I'm not sure how much those tickets actually cost, I'm not sure if this was an adequate refund or not. The excuse given was that because of health concerns, our tour guide didn't want to be in the rain. I don't want to challenge someone's health concerns, but if she is this frail, it seems inexcusable not to have a substitute guide that can step in. As a result we did see the sites, however had no idea what we were looking at and this was supposed to be a "guided tour". And of course, we had to provide our own transportation to the other sites, since the young man left immediately after giving us the bad news. So my warning to anyone considering this tour is "Don't"--not unless you can be sure it won't rain. And as it turned out, it quit raining soon after we entered the Colosseum.
Avoid “Rome Your Way” tour service.
David_P, Aug 2023
I’d avoid “Rome Your Way” service. They changed our time from morning to afternoon and then was late and told us there would not be a guide. “Offered” a 50% refund, but I texted/requested 75% for the entire group and received no reply. Only saw the colosseum as they didn’t even walk us to either of the other venues. I’m currently working with my credit card company disputing their charge.
Informative tour of Ancient Rome with lots of sights included
Rose_D, Jul 2023
Great tour and we saw so much. Finding our tour guide was easy with specific instructions. We walked right in with our included tickets into the Colosseum. We were able to see the top floors of the Colosseum but not the lower levels (that’s another tour). We walked through the Roman Forum and walked to the Pantheon but did not go inside since there is now a fee. :( We then ended at Piazza Novana, a great stopping place. Be prepared to do a lot of walking. Our tour guide, Alex, was very knowledgeable. Only problem, were the crowds and the unbearable heat - beyond anyone’s control. I would still highly recommend this tour since you get to see so much!
ADVANTAGE Tour company buys ticket and escorts you through security
Karen_O, Jul 2023
Not impressed with the tour operating company. I have booked with Viator on many occasions and this company lacked promptness and signs. We arrived at the meeting point where at least 40 other tour groups where meeting at the same time. We arrived 15 minutes earlier than asked to be there and still our operator was not there until after start time. When they arrived (3 people) they had no sign and there were members of our group looking everywhere for them. Another tour operator even commented that "Rome Your Way" operators only arrive at the last minute and they tried to guide us to where the operators should be. Once we where divided into 2 separate groups with different guides, we proceeded. THE ONLY ADVANTAGE to this tour is to get the tour company to purchase your entrance ticket and to escort you through the security area. Once inside the guide is slow in explaining or showing you artifacts and the actual Colosseum. We lasted for about 45 mintunes with the guide and left the group to proceed on our own. To be fair the guide was trying to make sure we took enough water breaks and stayed in the shade when possible. Record high temps of 105 that day.
Terrible Experience
Sybil_M, Jul 2023
Absolutely terrible experience. Our tour guide did not show up. We did not get the opportunity to cancel and just rebook. A rep said sorry for the inconvenience and said after you enter the colosseum you will be on your own and I can’t get you headsets. He left and someone else returned. That rep didn’t speak English. She walked us up to the first entry point then disappeared. When we arrived to ticket entry the guard said sorry we all cannot get in without your tour guide who had our tickets. They rushed us out and my daughter fell to the ground and bruised her knee. She was in pain and traumatized. I am still waiting for a full refund and I am getting the run around. Now my children are completely disengaged with touring. I hope they do the right thing.
Very poor
Chris_B, Jul 2023
Our guide did not turn up and we only discovered at this point that the pantheon was only to see the outside, when the picture of this tour showed the inside .very disappointing to say the least
