    • Please, provide the full names of all travellers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
    • Note that on the day of your visit, certain areas of the monument/attraction can be closed due to either religious events and national holidays
    • We kindly ask you to be at the meeting point 20 minutes before the starting time
    • When booking for kids under 18 years, a government-issued ID/passport will be required when entering the monument. Failure to bring an ID with you can result in the security staff refusing you entrance to the monument.
    • Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or late arrivals. If you are late to arrive at the meeting point, you will not be able to join your tour.
    • Tours will run rain or shine (unless the monument is closed by the official administration for safety reasons)
    • The tour itinerary can start with either the Colosseum or the Palatine Hill/Roman Forum
    • Only small bags are allowed
    • Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
    • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 20 travelers

    Sad and disappointed

    Not totally the tours fault but also not ours HOWEVER there was an emergency at the Colosseum and we were not able to get to the meet up spot due to entrances being blocked with no eta when they would open. We ended up halving to walk miles around to reach the meeting place. We were in communication with someone at the tour company and in sight of the tour group when we received a message that they were leaving us to start the tour.we tried to catch up to the tour but were not allowed access. We totally missed the once of a lifetime experience that we were looking so forward to. We were exhausted from trying to catch up to them and still missed it all.

    I'm truly sorry to hear about your experience, and I completely understand your frustration. It sounds incredibly disappointing to miss out on such a highly anticipated experience due to circumstances beyond your control. We deeply regret any inconvenience caused by the unexpected emergency at the Colosseum and the resulting difficulty in meeting up with the tour group. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will review our procedures to ensure better communication and assistance in similar situations in the future. Unfortunately was something that we cannot control, as they close the entire area and did not communicate that in advance, obviously. That being said we have done our best to reach out to everyone and getting new direction for the updated meeting point. Consider even the fact that the tickets still have an expiring hour and there is other people, like you, that want the tour to start. Even more in this case. Please accept our sincerest apologies, and if there's anything we can do to make it up to you, please don't hesitate to reach out.

    Guide (Laura) was super knowledgeable and made the whole experience fantastic. Big difference e between wandering around looking at all the sites trying to read the placards to figure out the significance of what you were looking at and having someone make you feel like you were actually there.

    Very informative and hit all the key areas to see; you could do the self guided tour on your own that you see a lot of people doing but save yourself some time and book this guided tour. Being able to skip the long lines is worth it.

    Knew a lot of the history but got a couple of the details wrong that our teenager pointed out to us after the tour. Picked odd spots to stop in the colosseum that put us in the way of the crowd a couple times.

    It was bad because we paid for the tour and we’re only able to see the collesium because of the time change..We started the tour late, supposed to be 330pm then text 1355 then tour guide late due to previous tour and because of time change everything else was closed..if I would’ve known this I wouldn’t done this tour!! Hoping for part of a refund

    Excellent full 3-hour tour with Francesco! The tour was well organised & really thorough walk through the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill & Roman Forum. So interesting and Francesco shared so much history & information as well as shared images to assist our imaginations of what some of the sights originally looked like, which was lovely.     Don't miss out on this tour! the Colosseum is magnificent. Our your guide, Simone, was very knowledgeable. She explained a lot about the gladiators, the history of Rome, and the houses and monuments found in the Palatino. This tour includes skip-the-line the tickets and the tour guide takes care of that, you don't have to stand in any line. You have plenty of time to take pictures.

    Mere pictures cannot capture the spectacle and magnitude of the ruins of Ancient Rome. The tour included a visit to all of the iconic features, as well as an educational briefing at all sites. Our archaeologist tour guide, Simona, was extremely knowledgeable and simply delightful.

    Our tour guide Emilio was excellent. He knew the history very well having dug there in his early career. and the tour he gave was amazing. Inside the colosseum he created a great background narrative so when you saw the arena for the first time you could picture the history of the colosseum. He kept everyone interested and wasn’t talking for the sake of filling time. Around the Roman forum once again fantastic at telling you the history would definitely recommend this tour. When the tour finished he was happy to talk or tell you anything else you wanted to know he had time for everyone , a fantastic guide. A few tips - arrive early even on Sunday the Rome traffic is busy, and taxis cannot get you close to the meeting point. We had a ten minute walk from a drop off due to the security perimeter. The tour company email you via viator the exact location and a photo of your guide. Take water with you there are no shops on the tour. We did the early morning tour 10:30 and glad we did as it finished at around 1 pm and the heat was intense - mid 30’s.

    My husband and I were so impressed with our guide - Francisco made the whole place come alive for us. He also showed us illustrations on his tablet to help us visualize what life was like for Roman citizens and gladiators back then. It was very crowded at the Colosseum, but Francisco kept us all together.

    A Great tour for a small family/group

    The tour was great and informative. It was delayed due to ‘in-house’ reasons however we were informed about the delay way before and received a friendly call making sure we got the message. Raffaela (our tour guide) was a delight, she was educational, funny and understanding when we needed to take a break. Would definitely recommend :)

    It wasn't worth the money. Our tour guide did not speak well English so it was hard to understand her. I had 3 teen girls who wanted to know history of the place but they were bored at the tour. I wouldn't do this tour again.
