I thank you for the feedback but frankly it doesn't add up that your driver could have been an hour late. We have no notes on the service, which means that we didn't receive any calls -- not from you, not from the other clients on the service, and not from the driver to report a delay. I also spoke with one of the other parties on this shared transfer and he said that the driver was on time for their pickup, which was immediately before yours and from another ship. This client said they were picked up on time and went straight to your ship, incurring the unavoidable traffic and security checks inside the port, but nothing that would have amounted to the degree of lateness you claim. Your driver also insists that he was on time.
It should also be noted that you never informed us of any appointment at the Vatican Museums. Your drop-off point was your hotel. If you needed to arrive there by a certain time, that information should have communicated to us in advance. Under the circumstances, I hardly see how we can be held responsible for a missed appointment at the Vatican, seeing as you didn't apprise us of your commitment and chose to be dropped off at your hotel.
Would you be so kind as to contact me so I that I can better understand things from your side?
Thanks kindly,
Sharon
