What an amazing tour! Our guide, Noemi, was fabulous. She was a walking encyclopedia and Rome enthusiast. Her passion for the city was conveyed in everything she explained to the group. We had about 20 people in our group and Noemi stopped frequently to make sure we were all still there. The headsets worked great, we could hear everything loud and clear. The price of the tour was well worth it and we’d highly recommend it to anyone! Helpful Tips: 1. Make sure to have your passport with you! There were several people scrambling at the check-in spot because they didn’t have their passport (which was clearly in the directions). 2. Use the bathroom right before the tour and at the spot on top of Palintine Hill (the guide stopped for like 15 minutes here). It’s the only bathroom until the end of the tour. 3. Don’t panic at the check-in spot, it’s a large area and there are a lot of groups that meet here. We arrived pretty early and couldn’t find the guide (were told there would be a white flag…well, there was a lot of white flags). We asked numerous other guides at the check-in spot if we were at the right spot and they all pointed us in the right direction (the guide just wasn’t there yet). My last photo shows where our taxi driver dropped us off, and where we eventually found the guy with the “white flag” for this tour.

I had really goobered up and mistakenly booked the tour in Italian but the tour operators at the Coliseum were so helpful and found spots on another tour in English. The tour guide spoke English and was witty and so helpful in keeping us organized. Her insight as an archeologist was so beneficial.

We had a great experience with our Colosseum and Palentine Hill tour. We moved at a great pace, so we were getting all of the fun facts and information, but it wasn’t dragging on. Our group was smaller. She did say that we did not have some people come, but it was an acceptable size to maneuver around the area. Our guide (Maria) was knowledgeable and efficient.

Good if you are tight on time but want to see and hear about the sites.

Enough information to make the walk through the sites good but there were several times where we felt rushed. I understand it's a group tour and can't hang out forever in one place. We didn't get a chance to stop into the bookstore and what I assume was a gift shop at the coleseum as our choices were to stay at the coleseum and miss out on the hill palace and forum ruins since the guide held our entry tickets. Overall was good enough. We did enjoy the information and archeological insight on things throughout the tour. Having the priority access was nice too so we weren't standing in line forever.

i was at the meeting point at the right time, but couldn't find the gruop or the organizer! tried calling the number from the booking but no one was answering. sent a message on the booking portal but didn't get any reply i asked for a refund on the booking portal and also didn't get any reply!
