Start your duck tour in central Rotorua, where you’ll board an authentic WWII amphibious ‘duck’ that traverses land and water. This 90-minute adventure for all ages is the perfect introduction to Rotorua and offers entertainment for the whole family.

Watch Rotorua's history unfold as you ride past top landmarks and other highlights including Government Gardens public park near Lake Rotorua — punctuated by Mokoia Island; the thermal attraction of Geothermal Sulphur Point; the elegant Rotorua Museum (Te Whare Taonga o Te Arawa); and the Blue Baths, established in 1931.

We all enjoyed the duck boat trip. Interesting information and entertaining hosts. Enjoyed driving through two lakes, something we have not done before. The fact the duck was 80 years old and had served in WW2 was amazing.

Narrator was new but did a fantastic job. I had never been on an amphibious craft so It was fun watching all the shifting etc. to maneuver in and out of the water. I thought it would be able to go faster on the water but that did not really matter.
