Fabulous day at Rottnest Island. Highly recommend it as brilliant day out. Easy process, ferry ride across, bike hire and easy to get around. We had our extended family group of 8 and we all loved it. Cycling around the island was great, stopped at look outs, lighthouse, madatory selfie with a quokka and had a swim at a gorgeous little private beach (there were several options) Lunch at a cafe and finished off with drinks at the pub - great day!

The island is gorgeous and being able to see all of it was a treat. An air conditioned bus on such a hot day was truly worth it. However, water would have been a nice touch. And signage as to whereto meet. So confusing!
Great tour

A really good day out. Train and bus with stop for lunch worked very well. Lunch was a chicken wrap salad and chocolate cookie. We stopped at a beach on the way back and had a miscommunication. I asked what time did we need to be back on bus and the driver said 3:30pm but actually it was meant to be just a photo stop and bus was going at 3:17 🤷🏽‍♀️
Interesting and Enjoyable

Oliver Hill visit of the cannon and tunnels. Long enough but not too long a tour. Nice to have lunch as well.

Robbo our guide was lovely and had a lot of facts about the island. We had plenty of time to explore individual places. Highlight would definitely have to be the train ride and quokkas! Only recommendation would be to organise ferry tickets in advance as times didn’t really align with the tour time especially during peak period
Great tour of Rottnest for non bike riders!

After a very rough ride to “Rotto” we arrived & located our tour after enquiring at the Information Centre. Wandered up to our tour with plenty of time. Train ride was great with commentary from driver. Up to the top of the hill & transferred over to our tour guide . We had Graham & he gave us fantastic information on everything to do with Battery Hill & even local flora & fauna. Lots of steps, stairs & tunnels. So interesting ! After that we were met outside by our bus driver Kev with lunch of chicken salad wraps & a cookie & bottled water which was consumed on the bus due to the weather. Then we had a tour with commentary around the whole island seeing lots of bays, the salt lakes, birds, lighthouses & Quokkas! Had to get on & off the bus a few times & my only complaint about the whole day was that the step to get back onto the bus was a bit steep for me & would suggest a portable step. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Despite everyone believing you can cycle around the island, and of course you can, if you really want to. It much more comfortable to sit on an air-conditioned bus with a tour guide providing the intimidate knowledge that you would not otherwise receive. Also the island is not flat and has more hills than you are led to believe.

The Beaches, The Quokkas, the whole island in general. Great Tour guides and very informative talks on the history of Rottnest Island. Awesome experience!
A great day out.

All the beaches on the island. You could have your own private beach, there are so many to choose from. The quokkas are so cute and lots of them.

Jason was an excellent tour guide- full of information and the right amount of humour. He was great and made the tour a wonderful experience. Garry at Oliver Hill was also excellent. He made the tour interesting and had lots of anecdotes.
Amazing location

The tour was informative however we were disappointed that the train didn’t run and we were not compensated in any way. Lunch was a wrap which was disappointing. Despite this we enjoyed our day.

Bus driver Kevin was really informative. He even shared some of his life on the island that was funny
Beautiful experience

The island was beautiful but it was a shame the train was broken so we missed out on that part of the journey
Very worth while if you only have the day.

The wildlife was amazing. The eagles the nest and also the Quakkas in the wild. The volunteer on our tour of the tunnels was helpful with lots of answers to the many questionand the tunnels
Informative and Scenic

We decided to do the tour because rain was predicted and it was a good opportunity to see Rottnest. We didn’t realize the amount of information shared and the beautiful scenery. Because of the rain we had to eat on the bus but it was difficult to eat because the bus was moving. It would have been better to have stopped so we didn’t have to juggle yummy role and water.

The your in general was good. I wish it would make a few more stops, rather than seeing to scenes thru the window of the coach.
The Grand Tour of Rottnest Island was grand!!
Fiona_C, Nov 2022
The train ride and the Oliver Hill gun tour were great - we didn’t expect the bus tour of the island too, so that was a bonus. Our guide told us many interesting facts and seeing the osprey landing on its nest was a treat. Lunch was tasty too!
