    An Excellent Intro to Saint John

    We did Pete's walking tour and were lucky enough to have a very small group (just three people). Pete is an amazing ambassador for Saint John and taught us a lot about the history of the city and what it is like to live there. He brought the city to life and the tour felt like a pleasant walk with a friend. Pete even followed up with helpful recommendations for the rest of our time here. Definitely recommend!

    Pete is a knowledgeable, vivacious, and thoroughly delightful fellow who makes his beloved hometown come to life with the tales of historic background, current projects the city is involved in, architecture, colorful characters (most of whom are his friends and several whom we passed and he exchanged pleasantries with!)     Pete was easy to find…just a few steps off of our cruise ship and his tour was great! It’s obvious pretty quick that Pete loves the city and enjoys sharing interesting facts and tidbits about St. John. His enthusiasm & knowledge was nice to experience and we would definitely recommend this affordable tour to anyone that wants a quick, 2-hour tour of St. John, New Brunswick.

    Like a walk through history. Pete is very knowledgeable and does a great job of explaining things. The walk was relatively easy, although there are some fairly steep streets. Very enjoyable!

    This was a wonderful excursion, Pete is very knowledgeable and made the entire experience interesting and fun. The walking tour went by in the blink of an eye. Pete gave a tremendous amount of information without it being boring. I would highly recommend this tour. He had great recommendations of where to visit after the tour, whether it was to eat or additional sights.

    Pete is so entertaining and full of information about his home town. We appreciated his use of the inside walkways and tunnels (especially since we had rain). We saw the market, the parks, the beautiful Anglican church and even walked by his high school. His explanation of local history was informative but never boring! Highly recommend.

    Pete was a total delight! Knowledgeable, entertaining, and clearly well liked in his city! A former pub owner and community son, he was greeted regularly and enthusiastically, on our tour by the locals! Great way to get to know St John, it’s history and folklore!

    Pete was amazing. You can tell he loves giving tours and he loves Saint Johns with the in-depth information he provides on his walking tours. He is very knowledgeable and explained and showed us the area affected by the great fire of 1877, where Prince Charles and Princess Diana were when they visited in 1983. He has a great sense of humor. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Saint John.
