Luisa was an awesome guide with extensive knowledge of everything (history, flora, fauna, etc). The hike was perfect (not too short not too long).
We were able to see the rare Andean condor flying overhead.

Pedro (Peter) was super friendly, welcoming, informative, also taking care of my parents’ slow movement. he explained history, geography, biology of cocora valley in details, as well as salento architecture and history. we are deeply impressed. He even over timed 1.5 hours and ended at 6:30pm .

Excellent guide Pedro who was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating for us. He took beautiful pictures of the family. The tour it self was spectacular, Cocora valley is breath taking and a must see.

We booked this private tour and the day before the experience, we were contacted by Gran Colombia asking if we were okay with another couple joining our tour (a tour guide was sick and the individual tours needed to be combined with one tour guide). Gran Colombia tours was very accommodating and refunded us 20% as a result. Our tour guide Luisa and our driver Jorge were both amazing. Luisa informed us with history of the country as we drove to the valley and stopped along the hike to point out important plants and information. The only downside of our experience was that lunch took such a long time that we only had about 30 minutes to explore the town of Salento before returning to Pereira.

Davide was the perfect guide, such a great guy! The tour was amazing and everything was perfectly explained, after the tour he also made sure we knew where to take the bus back home. Very recommended ☺️

A TOTALLY AMAZING PLACE. Our experience touring the Cocora Valley and Salento was extraordinary. The place is awe-inspiring. You cannot miss this place if you visit Colombia’s “Eje Cafetero”. Our guide Dahiana and our driver were wonderful and very accommodating and helpful.

Based on our experience with our tour guide, there are other ways to do the Cocora Tour which are much cheaper. The tour guide explained so little about Cocora and Salento, neither the history or any additional information. The only thing the tour guide did was walking with us in Cocora and in Salento with NO information, we payed 70 euros each for this and it is not worth it. But we highly recommend the place.

We are aware that there are cheaper options to go to the Cocora Valley, but we want you to take into consideration that when you book a tour with us, price not includes the entrances and hike to the park but the whole logistic to get you covered since the moment you are picked up by us. Regarding the lack of information from the guide, we will check up on our guides and give the appropriate feedback so we keep improving our service.

The tour was great!
The team (the driver Oscar and the guide Laura) was very professional and very friendly.
The hike is about only 2h in total going up & down and is not difficult.
The viewpoints are outstanding!

Great communication, and super fun trip! Our guide shared a lot of knowledge about the history and current events in Cocora, the plants in the surrounding area and their significance/importance, as well as the beauty that is hidden within the forest of Cocora.
The views were breathtaking and the stories were extremely interesting! I would highly recommend this tour and asking the guide for his other tours and food recommendations because they really came a long way after our cocora valley trip :)
