Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. We enjoyed hearing the history of the missions and understanding the relationship between the Spanish and the local Indian tribes which were absorbed into the missions.

Great tour!

Even in the rain, the tour was really worthwhile and we learned a lot from our guide/host that we might otherwise not have learned: facts about individual missions and what features were original versus renovation work.
Fun time!

Alex was a great tour guide. We learned a ton about all the missions and history. It was a great tour to hit all the missions in one trip.
Amazed!

Informative Trip

Curry was an informative and attentive tour guide. He didn't rush us at each stop and was happy to answer questions and share the information he knew. He brought water bottles for us and was helpful in assisting guests in and out of the van.
Texas history coming to life.

We had a great time touring the missions of San Antonio. Our son had studied them in 7th grade and really enjoyed seeing history. Our guide Currie was wonderful and we appreciated not having to drive around searching for the missions, he knew exactly where to go.

Alex was our guide. He did a wonderful job. We learned a great deal about the history of the mission.
Lots of history.
Brian_H, Mar 2024
Alex explained a lot of what was going on when the missions were built and how they would have been used back then. The missions themselves are a little underwhelming because of the years of abuse and repairs. But it was still a very interesting tour.
Nice tour - do it!
Nadine_R, Mar 2024
The exhibit room with artifacts like Davy Crockett’s rifle and vest was fascinating. Really liked the narration by Phil Collins showing the layout of the entire Alamo and how Santana’s men attacked.
Worthwhile tour.

Enjoyed learning the history of the missions. Our tour guide was very friendly and answered all of our questions. It was nice having a small group tour.
4 Missions in 9100 steps
Anitha_N, Mar 2024
Our tour guide was terrific, very knowledgeable and kind. We went through all 4 Missions and ended at the Alamo (which I did on my own after the tour was over). After the 1st mission, the other 3 became a little more "on your own" for exploration. The grounds vary in size and things /places to explore. If you are not local to San Antonio I highly recommend doing the tour so you can get the details quickly and efficiently. The tour lasted about 3.5 hours. I didn't choose a pickup location because my hotel wasn't on the list. Coordinating that took A Lot of work on my end and was very stressful. I've done Viator tours on 5 continents- this was the most complicated mostly because of getting a response in a timely fashion from the tour guide company to ensure my pickup- my only complaint.
Fun trip into early TX history!
