For Hilton Union Square, please meet at the Mason Street entrance (eastern entrance). For other locations, meet outside the main hotel doors. If your hotel is not listed, select either Hilton Union Square or Hotel Zephyr Fisherman’s Wharf, or alternatively, add your hotel, and we will provide the closest pick-up location. Your exact pick-up location and time will be provided upon confirmation. Please always refer to the provider's confirmation.
What To Expect
After hotel pickup in San Francisco, drive across the Golden Gate Bridge, meaning you’ll reach Muir Woods before many other tours arrive. Muir Woods National Monument is home to a pristine forest of California coastal redwoods, which are some of the planet’s tallest and oldest trees with heights that can reach 250 feet (76 meters). You have some time here to wander through the grove of giant sequoias and cross over mossy streams. Then return to the tour vehicle for the drive further north into wine country.
When you reach your first winery in Sonoma County’s Carneros region, you can explore the grounds, enjoy photo ops of the vineyard and sample a variety of wines in a welcoming atmosphere. For lunch, guests can choose one of two lunch options. The first is to venture out on their own and the second option is to upgrade their wine country experience to the next level with a private seated gourmet food and wine pairing experience at a local restaurant. Enjoy delicious local food paired with a collection of California wines.
Afterward, continue your tour to your second and third wineries in Sonoma County or Napa County for more tastings. Enjoy a leisurely stop at each winery, and you’ll have the chance to taste 3 to 5 wines of different varietals, from white to red to sparkling. Tasting fees are included, and you may purchase bottles not available in retail stores to take home.
Your day trip ends with the drive back across the Golden Gate Bridge. Admire views of the vast Pacific and the rugged coastline before hotel drop-off.

- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.

We booked this tour for part of our honeymoon and we both can’t stop talking about it. The views were marvelous and the wines were delicious! Our tour guide Kimmy had us laughing all day and we walked away with so much knowledge about San Fran history. We had the best time!

All around, this was a great trip. I highly recommend! Our tour driver, Ben was fun and knowledgeable. The wineries we went to was small/family owned, and friendly. Muir woods was absolutely beautiful. My only critique is I wish we had a little more time in the redwoods.

Don, was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and conversational and appeared to love what he does. It was a very full day but certainly an enjoyable tour. Great wine orchard selection and lunch stop in Napa. Please consider the Cheese Factory when visiting, their sandwiches are excellent! All in all a great tour despite the rainy/cold weather conditions. Muir Woods was amazing!

Very informative tour. Dusty was I grate guide. He gave us the time we needed to explore the Muir wood. It vas a tasty lunch that we hade made included. The wine tasting at different wine yards was interesting. Thanks for a nice tour.

Decent way to spend a day as you get to stop and take photos at the bridge, spend an hour at Muir Woods, and then go to 3 wineries. Dustin was our guide and he was great. I do think too much time throughout the day was spent on the road getting to their next affiliated winery. By 2pm we had only had 3 sips of wine. There isn’t much time left to actually enjoy a glass either as each winery will take you through their history etc so by the time you’re tried 3-4 wines you have to get back on the bus. Would have been better if the wineries were closer proximity to each other to allow more time. Other things to note: road to Muir Woods is very windy so if you get motion sickness be prepared. Fee doesn’t include entry into the woods either. I would suggest hiring a car instead.

The tour includes three wineries, visits to both Napa and Sonoma Valleys and a total of at least nine wine tastings. For most of our guests, that is plenty. Kimmie was an amazing host, making the whole trip really fun and informative. Her organisation was spot on and we had ample time at each winery. We sampled lots of different wines and the winery’s we visited were all really different too which was great. The small group atmosphere was also really beneficial, we had a great day!
