What To Expect

One of the most-visited parks in the United States, Yosemite National Park is famed for its wild beauty and massive natural attractions. After morning pickup at your San Francisco hotel (selected hotels only), cruise across the San Francisco Bay Bridge and through historic Gold Rush towns as the urban bustle gives way to the rugged landscape of the Sierra Nevada.

When you arrive at the park, stretch your legs at Tuolumne Grove with a hike among some of the oldest and largest trees in the world (weather permitting). Crane your neck to see the top of the giant sequoia trees, including a tunneled-out tree large enough to drive a car through.

Continue on to Tunnel View for an unbeatable view of Yosemite’s photogenic valley framed by the giant granite formations of Half Dome and El Capitan. Look for expert rock climbers trying to scale the world-class cliffs and, in springtime, watch the thundering cascade of Yosemite Falls.

Enjoy some free time to explore the park on your own. Rent a bike and cruise along the flat paths of Yosemite Valley (not included), hike to a nearby waterfall, or visit the Ansel Adams Gallery to see some of the most famous images of the park ever captured on film. Lunch options include a picnic on the Merced River or a casual meal at the Yosemite Lodge (own expense). Reconnect with your guide at the appointed time, and relax on the scenic drive back to San Francisco.

Please note: The weather in Yosemite is highly variable and includes rain and snow in winter and high temperatures in summer. The itinerary may be adapted to make the most of Yosemite during different seasons and times of the year. The giant sequoias are best visited between May and October. During the rest of the year, snow and ice conditions may prevent access to roads and trails, and other activities may be substituted.

We have traveled the world and the Yosemite Meadow offered the most spectacular views and awe inspiring experience that we have had in nature to date. Our guide, Roman, is a true historian, geologist, naturalist, and caring comedian. You should book this tour for sure and make sure you ask for him.

Sent them the negative feedback to the operator and no response. This itself shows how bad they operate.
Rob is a lovely human and amazing tour guide!
Priti_B, May 2024
Rob was fantastic, he made sure I had a great time on the tour even after I made a mistake on the meetup area and delayed everyone. He ensured we still went to all the planned locations after my blunder. In addition, as a solo traveller it's difficult getting pictures, but Rob made sure to take great photos and was very dedicated in taking a good picture. Yosemite was beautiful, would recommend the 2 day tour because you would definitely want more time to explore and take in the incredible scenary. Highly recommend Rob as your tour guide, highly entertaining, a great driver and full of knowledge.
Great tour and guide.

Andy was a great tour guide, gave ample amount of stops/breaks, narrated the geology and history of the area and the best part was, he woke us up from sleep every time with his sweet songs.
Awesome and breathtaking
VALERIE_F, May 2024

Great host.

Great host, Andy. Very knowledgeable and aimed to please. Beautiful sites. A must see when you are in Northern California.
Great experience!
Sumaira_M, May 2024
Andy was fantastic! Not only was he hilarious and incredibly knowledgeable about history and geology, but he also has some epic singing skills. He artfully blended storytelling with historical facts and fun anecdotes. Linda, on the other hand, was a safe and secure driver. I had a great time!
Great experience
Olga_M, May 2024
Great experience. Our tour guide Dave made sure we had the most out of it. The giant sequoias hike is not too challenging - so go for it, unless you do have some health issues
Fabulous Yosemite trip
Imar_H, May 2024
The whole trip was special Yosemite is a special park. Instead of April showers, we got snow when we arrived at the Sequoias grove.

The tour was fantastic and I would highly recommend a visit to Yosemite to anyone in the SF area. The bus driver stopped at many great areas for photo opportunities and we had a good amount of time to explore Yosemite Valley. If I had my time again, I would opt to stay overnight in the valley to get the full experience. I enjoyed the videos the driver played on the long drives. The bus was comfortable and had charging ports which was helpful for the long day. We had some passengers in our group who were significantly late to pick up after the Yosemite Valley which delayed our tour by a bit and our guide seemed a bit disorganised when trying to figure out who was missing, but made good time making up for it. At times the bus driver was slightly difficult to understand, which made it particularly difficult for those for whom English was not their first language. It was a shame as he seemed to know a lot about the area and its history, but through the bus microphone, I think a lot of it was missed.

Thanks for your nice 5-star review of our tour to Yosemite. Yes, an overnight stay in Yosemite is always a good idea if you have the time in the schedule. We will look into the issue with the microphone. Thanks!
The host was excellent, he had a wealth of information about Yosemite.
Mark_G, Apr 2024
Love the giant redwoods and the waterfalls Our host was very knowledgeable about the history of Yosemite.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Thanks for letting us know! Please come and tour with us again soon.
Great itinerary, knowledgeable and entertaining driver but uncomfortable bus.
Andrew_T, Apr 2024
Alberto, the driver was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The scenery was amazing. The bus on the other hand needs to be retired and replaced with a more comfortable updated one. No back seat pouches no outlets to charge phones useless cup holders, nothing to prevent gear/packages from falling overhead and DVD kept turning off during video presentations. I would give this tour 5 stars otherwise but still recommend it.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Thanks for your review. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your guide, Alberto. We have checked you tour vehicle and found all of the charging ports (under your seat -- did you miss them) and cup holders working. We promise 100% satisfaction so please give us a call at (415) 357-0700 so we can put things right.
Not quite what we were sold
Brent_Z, Apr 2024
Mainly booked this tour to see the Sequoyah's, but they were not available. We were not told this was a possibility until 2 days before. The company we booked with sent us to another “sister” company and the time in the Yosemite valley was really not easy for novices to sort through how to do. We were expecting something different from a tour, not just a shuttle service that dumped us at the valley and said come back in 3 hours.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
We are disappointed to hear that we fell short of your expectations. There are many places in our tour descriptions and in the email sent just prior to departure where we warn that the Sequoias hike cannot be safely completed when covered in ice and snow which was the case on your tour day. In addition, there were downed trees across the trail which made it impassable. The sun is out and the trees have been removed so I hope you can return to try again. Please call (415) 357-0700 and ask for a manager so we can get you a "do-over" tour.
Partial tour for full cost
William_C, Apr 2024
We scheduled a tour of Yosemite and the Giant Sequoias. We got a half tour of Yosemite and NO tour of the Sequoias. Our drive was hospitable and friendly but told several ‘personal experience’ stories and discussed his favorites rather than talking about what the tour was supposed to be. No excuses on why we didn’t get to see the Sequoia valley or why we didn’t get that portion of the trip. The driver played with his phone to select the music he wanted while driving the back roads. Literally while driving the back roads. Overall a disappointing trip for us.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
We are glad we got a chance to talk about your tour day and to explain that you were informed several times that the Sequoias hike could not be attempted on your tour day due to unsafe wet and slippery conditions. The trees hike is one of 7 stops during the day and 90 minutes of a 15-hour tour and we are happy to know that you considered the rest of the experiences up to par. Please, let's do it again on your next trip to San Francisco.

Fantastic trip!! We are a family of five and it was excellent for both the adults and kids! Tour guide was knowledgeable. Overall great experience that we would recommend.

David was an awesome tour guide and very safe bus driver. Lots of good stories. Only wish there was more time. Will definitely come back for a longer stay! 😀
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Yosemite never disappoints! Next time let's do a 2-day tour where you can see more of the park. All the best on your trip home.
April 2024 visit
John_J, Apr 2024
Seeing the view of the valley and walking to the falls. Disliked not knowing that the bus was not going to the Sequoias until we were almost out of the park.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Sorry about that. We are expecting the Giant Sequoias trail to be re-opened in a few weeks but it is still covered in snow at the time of this writing. We regret that you missed our email and test message about the tree BUT we know that communication can be challenging when on vacation. Please come again this summer!
Yosemite Must Do in One Day
Rui_F, Apr 2024
Very good choice if you have only one day to visit Yosemite Park. The guide Gino was awesome, lots of information and always in good mood. I enjoyed the entertainment surprise on the return trip to SF.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Thanks for the kind words about Gino...he will be thrilled to learn that you enjoyed his tour. Next time try a 2- or 3-day trip to see more of Yosemite!

jaseffraziel_y, Apr 2024
Amazing nature, yet there were inconveniences at the moment of the pickup and we could not visit the giant sequoias due to the bad weather.
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Thanks for letting us know how your tour went. We are glad we had a chance to speak with you about the reason for the change to you pickup location and to clarify that the Giant Sequoias trail was still packed with snow and ice. The trail should open on or before April 20th. All the best.
Disappointing
PRAKASH_R, Apr 2024
The place was excellent and I have been using Your folks for all my trips but this one was disappointing. The journey back and forth is 9 hours and the bus is not anywhere close to having such a long journey. Couple of examples - The water bottle holder is not even there in few seats and the one I had used to drop down once I keep a water bottle. The seats are not comfy at all and so is the bus. To make my experience worse, I was not allowed to get down at the preferred place I wanted to catch up with my friend. I understand the protocols but for a visitor and for a company that is keen in customer satisfaction need to focus on achieving the goal of satisfaction. I am deeply disappointed and I am surely not going to recommend this trip to any of my friends just based on my experiences. Thank you
Response from Host, Apr 2024
Thanks for taking the time to let us know about your tour. We have looked into and repaired the issue of the cup holder that you mention. Thanks. We are not really clear about what was the issue with your friend and have tried to reach you. Please give our office a call so we can understand what occurred and follow up with your driver if there was an issue. (415) 357-0700

We had a great time. Our driver and guide, Rob, is a very authentic, memorable and kind-hearted person and his stories and anecdotes made the tour and its amazing views come alive even more. Thank you Rob.
