This was one of our favorite experiences during our trip to Italy. The grounds of Tenuta are gorgeous - every staff member we interacted with or passed was friendly, gracious and attentive to the needs of their guests. The cooking class was awesome - we learned a lot from chef Dante who was a font of humor, charm and authentic culinary knowledge. We loved getting to eat the delicious tagliatelle he coached us through making. The wine tasting during lunch was one of the most elegant and flavorful experiences I have had at any winery. Our sever was extremely knowledgeable and ensured we tasted at a leisurely pace which paired well with the delicious lunch we were served. We recommended this experience to several other folks we met during our stay in San Gimignano and can't speak highly enough about it! We were especially delighted when the case of wines we ordered during our visit were delivered to our door in California (free shipping!)

Pasta and wine. Day trip. Must do.
Chirag_P, Apr 2023
Great pasta making experience. Dante was awesome to work with. Wish we washed our hands before digging in to make pasta. Lol. The meals prepared with the pasta we made were fantastic. The wine and apps provided after were also delicious. Dessert was just biscottis and dessert wine. If you’re in Tuscany for a day trip I highly recommend this. Just about an hour drive from Florence. You can rent a car from the train station. The pasta making takes about 2 hours and then factor another 2 hours for tasting and dinner. Staff was all fantastic and very accommodating.
You don't want to miss this!

This was THE best night we had in Italy. Everyone was wonderful and we ordered wine that was home in the States before we were.
Delightful cooking class!

Dante, our chef, was exceptional. He entertained us while teaching his tricks and secrets in making pasta. We made our very own lunch and we’re quite proud of ourselves. Met some wonderful people at the same time.
Amazing Tuscan experience

Pizza making with Simone was so fun and we learned a lot. Wine-tasting with Leo was awesome - lots of learning and laughter.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. This was a great experience and a memory of a lifetime. We learned a lot about making pasta and the different wines this vineyard has to offer. The grounds were lovely.

A fantastic experience! It felt like cooking with a family member! I would definitely recommend it to anyone! Also the room of the restaurant were you enjoy your meal afterwards is wonderful.
This is a MUST do!

From beginning to end, the experience at Tenuta Torciano was an incredible one. Our instructor, Antonio, was incredibly personable and helpful as we made three different types of pasta from scratch. Not only is it fun to do this while sipping on wine, we learned a valuable life skill that we will have forever. After the prep is done we went into a beautiful private room where we tried at least a dozen different wines led by the fantastic Marco while we at the pasta that we made (which was legitimately some of the best pasta we've ever had), meats, and cheeses. The staff at Tenuta Torciano was incredible warm and welcoming and we can't wait to go back!
So much fun!!

My family if 8 took this class. So much fun making pasta and sampling different wines. The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming! Highly recommend!
This was fabulous! We enjoyed...

This was fabulous! We enjoyed ourselves very much. We began with Alto, our chef, who conducted himself professionally but very nice and friendly. He served us wine and we ate while teaching us how to make pasta. Then we went into this lovely room for the wine tasting with Gabriel. He knows wine very well and I learned much from him. Then they served our own pasta we made and he went thoroughly through 9 different wines, truffle and olive oil. There was a pretty young gal that greeted us but I fail to remember her name. She wore round glasses and was very welcoming too. A family owned and operated winery. Everyone we came in contact with were related to each other, enjoyed their jobs and each other, and it showed. I highly recommend Tenuta Torciano Winery. Beautiful grounds, restaurant and especially the people, Bravo!
