Please note: We pick up at select locations in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe. For the small group tour, we do not pick up at private residences on and we do not guarantee pickup for all hotels. Even if your hotel is on the list, there may be a chance you'll need to meet at an alternate location. If need be, the supplier will determine a location you can meet to be picked up for your excursion. Also, if you choose a hotel to meet at, we cannot guarantee free parking unless you contact the supplier and inquire about free parking. Tour supplier contact details will be provided on your pre-paid voucher. PICK UP TIME is between 6-7am however the supplier will contact you the afternoon prior to your tour date with an exact pick up time. Return time is between 7-8pm. What To Expect

After morning pickup at select locations in Phoenix or Scottsdale, relax on your drive through the Sonora Desert, en route to some of the American Southwest's most beautiful highlights.

Your drive brings you through the expansive Sonoran Desert filled with the native saguaro cactus. The scenery begins to change as you increase in elevation and views of the cactus fade into pine trees. As you continue further into northern Arizona, travel the outskirts of the Route 66 town of Flagstaff and from the highway, see the San Francisco Peaks among the seemingly endless Ponderosa Pine Forest, one of the largest contiguous forests of ponderosa pines in the world.

You will pitstop in Sedona, which includes a photo stop at Bell Rock, approximately 30 minutes of free time in Uptown Sedona and the scenic drive through Oak Creek Canyon

Your van climbs up to 6,000 feet (1,800 meters) before you reach your first stopping point in Grand Canyon National Park. Expect ample time to explore the features around the deepest and widest part of the canyon, which measures 277 miles (445 km) in length. Visit the El Tovar Hotel and Hopi House in Grand Canyon Village, and have time to shop, go for a walk, grab lunch (own expense), and visit cultural exhibits along the rim.

Your tour ends in the evening upon your return to your starting point in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area.

The Grand Canyon South Rim is a 7,000 foot elevation, please note this if you have concerns about altitude.
There is NOT a restroom on the van. Comfort stops are made throughout the day.
You must let the supplier know if there are any mobility concerns that they should be aware of.

Our guide and excellent driver Mark was so informative and fun (except for maybe the plethora of dad jokes). He explained the history of the Native Americans in this area, and spoke a lot about the wildlife and vegetation native to the area on the way there. Do you know exactly where to go when we reached the Grand Canyon and had so much good information about that as well. He gave us ample time to hang out there and enjoy the magnificent beauty. Sedona is a beautiful, cool place where you can shop and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the red rocks. Can Mark be my guide throughout my life going forward? 😉

Quick trip to Phoenix with my wife and mum, and we had a great trip to Sedona and the Grand Canyon, thanks in large part to Sam, who was excellent in every way. He’s very knowledgeable, has studied his stuff very well, and is also adept at adapting his material and info to the audience. I felt he was just about funny and entertaining enough, without becoming overbearing. I realize there’s more to the trip than the guide, but really, they do make or break the experience - atleast it was for us, since this was a very last minute plan with little research done on our own.

Wonderful experience! The seats are comfortable. I enjoyed Oak Creek and Grand Canyon! Our tour guide, Tracy, was very kind and informative. I learned a lot and would truly recommend this to anyone who wants to see the Grand Canyon without all the stress of driving there yourself. We also stopped in Oak Creek which was beautiful as well.

We had an amazing day trip to the Grand Canyon & Sedona. The bus was comfortable. The guide was informative and helpful. The size of the group was perfect - not too big & not too small. The views throughout the day were breathtaking. I would highly recommend this trip & would do it again. My only advice is to pack snacks & a lunch (we grabbed food on the road but the options were very limited). Wear comfy shoes!

This was what I thought would be once in a lifetime trip for my family. However, our guide Shannon was amazing and she shared so many interesting information about Sedona and Grand Canyon that I’m looking forward to returning. The day trip 13 hours was so well organized and things went smoothly. Shannon really planned all stops so we could get the most sites out of the day. She knew right where to drop us off for the best views! This was sooo much better than trying to navigate this day trip on our own! Five stars given for the trip!

WOW! What a great day with Shannon as our guide. Her knowledge and insight was only surpassed by the beauty of the area. If we were coming back again we would do everything possible to plan a trip with her as our guide. Prompt pick up at our location at 6:30AM and back about 6:45PM. We had to minimize our walking due to some health factors which she took great care to accommodate.

I certainly enjoyed the tour by Diane who kept all of us entertained throughout the tour educating us about some of GC's history and Arizona in general. She was attentive and very energetic throughout our journey. I wish we spent a little more time in Sedona and not 45 minutes in the Sedona shopping area. It felt as if we were just being teased seeing a glimpse of Sedona and not really going around it. I bought the package tour because it included Sedona but was slightly disappointed because of the afore-mentioned reason.
