Beneath the City Tour is a must for visitors
Debra_M, May 2024
Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Learning the history of Seattle over the last 150+ years was very interesting.
Definitely recommend!

Very informative and enjoyable. Don’t forget to look up and notice the purple lights from underground. Guide was very knowledgeable
Fun and informative tour
William_M, May 2024
I have never seen a more exuberant, happy and funny tour guide. We were so impressed with Imogen’s perspective on what makes Seattle great and not so great. The tour was informative and very interesting. I don’t like to repeat tours but when I get back to Seattle I will look to take this tour again as long as it’s led by Imogen.

It was interesting to hear the history of Seattle. How the city rebuilt after the fire and the planning
Fun and Unique Tour of Seattle
Tara_R, May 2024
It was really fun and interesting. Our guide, Richard, was very informative. The tour did feel like it ended kind of abruptly, it just lacked something at the end to tie it all together, but I would still recommend it for sure.
Vey interesting
Julie_Z, May 2024
The tour was really interesting with many unique facts. My only complaint would be that the people in our group kept asking questions in the first stop so by the time we got to that part of the tour it had already been discussed. Our tour guide was delightful and had unique spin on the history
This tour is a must!
Vicki_S, May 2024
It was amazing to learn there was a city below what we now know as Seattle. We learned so much from Richard, our engaging and energetic tour guide, as we explored the underground passageways and the streets of Seattle. It was a wonderful experience and one we would highly recommend!
Great time with Mike
Cris_C, May 2024
Mike was great with his cool and fun stories about Seattle underground. This is a must do tour in Seattle, we had a great time.
Beneath the Streets (not underground!)
Maegan_G, May 2024
This was a fun way to learn about the history of Seattle! Participants will meander through Pioneer Square and through "hidden" doorways accessing city blocks below the current hustle and bustle of the streets above. Our guide did a fabulous job sharing the experiences of business owners of the time as well as more recent uses of the space. This is not to be missed!
The tour guide on...
Michelle_N, May 2024
The tour guide on Saturday 5/4/24 at 3:30pm was knowledgeable, very passionate about the history and appreciated her sense of humor. I do think it was a bit pricey though for such a large group.
Who knew.....
Robin_D, May 2024
we lived in the Seattle area over 30 years ago, and had no idea about the history of Seattle. Our tour guide Dave was nothing but professional/ knowledgable/ and you could tell he loved this city and his job! Thank you Dave
Quick and interesting history tour
Lisa_C, May 2024
This tour was really interesting with lots of great history. Our tour guide was fun and upbeat and gave good recommendations for other places to visit. We ended up spending much of the rest of our day visiting shops we learned about and stumbled upon some great art galleries along the way. Highly recommend this as a fun, quick way to learn about the history of Seattle. Only recommendation is when in tight quarters wait for everyone to assemble before talking, as the guide sometimes started talking while we were still trying to get into the rooms. But, overall, he was great and we had a lot of fun.
Great tour
Merlyn_L, May 2024
Mike our tour guide was very energetic, lively, fun and enthusiastic. He had great stories, information and a wealth of knowledge about the city. It was a great tour.
First time Seattle visit, did not disappoint

Beneath the Streets was great!
Rae_F, May 2024
This was surprisingly entertaining and interesting tour! Sarah was our guide and she was excellent, personable, knowledgeable and funny. We learned a lot and were happy we did it.
Not worth the money
Gary_A, May 2024
The guides were very friendly this tour is just not worth the money or the time. Quick walking tour and basically see 2 basements. Not anything underground like a catacombs or secret tunnels, just basements. Some interesting history in the area that you can do on your own in a 15 minute walk around the block.
Lots of History
brandyldixon860, May 2024
We are new to Seattle and wanted to do this tour to gain some knowledge of the city and its history. This tour was perfect for just that!
janicegiardino, May 2024
This was a very cool and informative tour. We had no idea what expect and were surprised with how the city was basically rebuilt on top of the city. We got some interesting info above ground too as we walked the streets of Seattle. I’m glad we did it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because our tour guide talked so fast it was hard to keep up with him. Nice guy but he needs to slow it down some. If not being able to fit all he wants to say in the one hour tour is his reasoning for talking so fast I think it would better serve the tour to not have the narrative so long so we can actually enjoy and absorb what is being said instead of putting our minds in super speed to keep up.
