There is an additional fee for pick up outside Ubud area. Please refer to Exclusions for the extra cost depending on the location.

What To Expect

If you’ve opted for a tour with pickup from your Ubud area address—extra charges apply for pickup from elsewhere—your driver collects you and brings you to the silversmithing village of Delodsema, where your course begins.

Sip tea or coffee and nibble on Balinese snacks as your teacher shows you some jewelry samples to inspire your creativity. If you already have your own idea for a design, your teacher will help you sketch it out and bring it to fruition. If not, build on one of the samples that you like.

Your package includes 0.25 ounce (7 grams) of silver, but you can buy extra silver and stones if needed. Your teacher will help you implement your design, using techniques from hammering and soldering to engraving and cutting, and if there’s time and silver left you can create another piece.

A range of optional add-ons are available to book: an all-terrain vehicle (ATV or quad bike) tour, a cooking class, a village visit, a sightseeing tour, and a tour by retro Volkswagen Safari. These may happen before or after your silversmithing class.

Unless you’ve chosen the class without pickup, you return to your Ubud address at the end of your activities.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

This was the most amazing experience. The location was great, we learnt a lot from our trainer. It was a truely lovely experience. I even made a mistake and the trainer went the extra mile to patch repair and give me a second chance! Highly recommend

This place was about 40 mins north of where we were staying in Ubud. The transportation was great and picked and dropped off us. The ratio of teacher to students is 2:1 which was extremely helpful and made sure we didn’t end up there all night. After we choose our initial designs, they even weighed to make sure we used up our full silver allotment - so we ended up with 3 rings - the third being a very small pinky ring. Highly recommend! We arrived a little late (my fault) and it took us about 2 hours to complete all our rings. Our silversmith teacher was great and super helpful!

My husband and I attended the silver making class on our first night in Bali to make each other some Bali wedding rings. On arrival we were greeted with a light snack and refreshments. The staff were super friendly. Supportive and extremely helpful My husband and I both absolutely love our rings ❤️

Our driver was punctual, knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable. The cooking lesson was excellent, we learnt so much about Balinese cooking and the different traditional techniques. The silver making class was also good, we enjoyed the process and were very happy with our jewellery.

I did the 6:00pm session and had such a great time learning the art of silver jewelry making. I definitely have a new appreciation for it. Overall amazing experience. I would recommend coming with some ideas of what you want to create if you have decision paralysis like me. Highly recommend and the staff were amazing. They also have a nice shop with some amazing pieces

Excellent class for a day out in Ubud. Perfect for those looking to try something new or those seasoned veterans wanting to make one of a kind pieces to match their personal style. One on one time with skilled craftsman to help you achieved your vision and great customer service. A little far from eateries but keep an eye out for the new restaurant they are building for a well rounded experience.

Great Fun With An Amazing Piece of Jewellery to Show for it!

You get to make the jewellery from start to finish. It takes around 3-4 hours to complete but it is really interesting to see how the process works. Then you end up with a really nice memento to take home with you. You can also make more than one piece of jewellery as long as it it within the 7 grams of silver limit, if you go over you can buy more. It is quite far away from central Ubud but totally worth it!

Best activity of the trip because it is a unique experience and you can take the rings home. The person who helped me was very helpful and everyone was very nice, including the driver. I love my ring but it was too thick compared to the sample. Next time I know to look at the thickness and I would go during day time instead of night.

We were a group of 9. We arrived early and happily waited until our session started. There was a great variety of options to choose from or based on your own design which was fantastic. It was also a very hands on experience which was great. However my ring would have taken around 30 minutes of working and the other 2.5-3 hours I was just sitting waiting. This became very frustrating when several of the workers after finishing with others in our group proceeded to stand around talking or smoking. Several times I asked if one of these workers could assist the worker who was still working with the remaining 3 of us to finish ours but this did not happen. Then the next group arrived, they started them early instead. Poor organisation.
