Palermo on a bike

I loved the tour and my guide. My only complaint is that I had to pay for 2 people, even though I was solo. It was still worth it.

Great tour of historic Palermo. Catarina was very friendly, knowledgeable and fun leading our tour and taking us to taste some flavorful street food in Sicily.

Fantastic morning with a fantastic guide learning all about Palermo, it’s people & it’s history… Also nothing beats the cool breeze cycling on the bike down hidden streets in a fabulous city. We loved the atmosphere! Thank you👍

Disappointing

One of the bicycles got a flat. Although someone was able to come fairly quickly to fix it, if we were further away, it could have ruined the tour for everyone. Our guide should have had basic repair tools on hand

I'm sorry for the accident, which can happen. As you have pointed out, I arrived with an electric scooter to change the wheel. We preferred this method to lose precious minutes on the tour and leave the guide focused on the group. In this way you have not wasted time, I arrived during the street food stop in silence. If it had been further away, I would have arrived by electric scooter anyway. I would have liked your opinion on the tour, on the places visited and on the city, if the experience was pleasant. I love to bike and seeing the city by bike and was great. Correlating the route with the map that we had acquired from our hotel was valuable for getting around the city without a problem, thereafter. Our guide had the two of us share an arancini which for the money that we spent for the tour we should have had one each. They are so inexpensive-that was insulting.

Hello Justine, i'm Antony, SocialBike project manager. I read your review, and i'm sorry. I wrote you by whatsapp, but without reply. But I would like to clarify some aspects. In our bike tour there's a "street food tasting". And the tour guide offered you an aracina for 2 person, water, crocchè and panelle (for the secondo person). But is a Tasting, so that our guests can get an idea of Palermo's food. Anyway, i hope in your understanding and i'm available for other clarifications Antony

Our guide was perfect. So friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Fabio made the trip. We were not expert bike riders by any means and I had spoken in advance to your customer service to make sure that they were electric bikes. When we arrived, that was not the case. We decided to go ahead and we were so happy we did!

Fabio was great. The tour went to all the main sites and included a snack The bikes didn’t have baskets which would have been helpful
