Mr Van Lonh was a passionate kind who was very patient when our flight got delayed. He still ensured we covered everything in our itinerary and also took us to the best photography spots. He is knowledgeable about the history of Cambodia and ensured all statues’ background story is covered.

Good experience
Achuth_R, Dec 2023
Good tour to Tonle Sap Lake. Got over right on time, before the crowd started to come in so got good privacy during our tour.
Must Do Tour!
Corbin_w, Dec 2023
This tour was amazing and one of the most memorable I’ve experienced. Sotin was the best guide and clearly explained how the day would go and what to expect. He and the driver made the experience very comfortable and memorable. Visiting and talking with the school children was the best part and didn’t want this tour to end! Thank you Sotin!
amazing tour!

Voath was an amazing guide and we really enjoyed this tour. It was super well organized and the perfect length of time. The boat ride was enjoyable and the village was so so interesting to see. A must do tour! All ages can do it.
Real Cambodian experience
Tiziano_R, Jul 2023
The preparation of our guide, mr. Voath, is excellent. He driven us through Cambodian history and fishers village lifestyle, even if the village was not floating
Knowledgeable Guide and good tour
oluwabunmiadeleye, Apr 2023
The tour ended up being private so that was nice. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. We first stopped at a local market which was a highlight for me as I enjoyed seeing the way of life of the people. The boat ride was also good and on the way back had the opportunity to walk down the street of the fishing village. Very well enjoyed the day.

We had a fantastic tour of the floating villages with Nak. Nak spoke great English, was very knowledgeable about the area and was great at helping us interact with the locals! We would highly recommend Nak and this tour to anyone travelling to Siem Reap.

Enjoyable insight into stilted living
ker_w, Apr 2022
If you are looking for a floating village tour, then this probably isn't the one to book. The 'floating' part is limited to some restaurants aimed at tourists. HOWEVER, we still really enjoyed it, and having been to a real floating village before, I found the stilted homes more interesting. We had worried that we were overpaying, as tuk tuk drivers can take you to these areas much more cheaply, but our guide, Van Lonh was a very cheerful, friendly and informative person to have with us and it was great to arrive at a boat that had already been organised. There are a few efforts by locals to sell you pictures of yourself, or books but as virtually the only visitors at the time we went, we didn't feel mobbed or pressured. The locals,in the main, just got on with their usual day. As we declined the chance to visit one of the floating restaurants and see their caged crocodiles, the tour was just over 4 hours.

Dear Kerstin, Warmest Greeting from Green Era Travel! We are appreciated your Feedback on our tour in Viator. We do love to read your wonderful comment and are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the tour. Otherwise, we will pass this comment to the guide and team as well. As mentioned in our itinerary say houses on high stilts and floating village of Kampong Phluk and Tonle Sap Lake and you might missed this information for some reasons. You did not pay too expensive for this tour as you have chosen a private option when you booked and all inclusive as we provided you with a private boat, private car with best aircon and most knowledgeable, friendly local English Speaking Guide as well as entrance ticket and cold bottled waters during tours while a tuk tuk driver only offer you a ride from town to village and then he starts selling you other things and I am sure you will be regret when return. For just a tuk tuk with its driver to the village is not expensive but I do not think it is a good idea to travel like that, because many people got scam by some tuk tuk drivers selling you high price for the boat ride, take you to buy rice and other things for the poor and that many tourists have gone to forum on internet and sharing so many bad experiences with a tuk tuk driver to the lake and village, especially, as you saw the red dirt road about 5 kilometers with red dust all over which is not suitable to travel by tuk tuk at all. If you wish a cheaper tour, so next time please choose a small group tour as we offer this option with this tour as well. Hope that the above explanation is clear; otherwise feel free to contact me anytime. We do hope to see you again soon on your next trip to Cambodia. Well worth going in dry or wet season. Very interesting if you want to see how Cambodians living on the waterways really live.
A great exposure to the community that lives on Tonse Sap Lake.
Sherry_E, Feb 2020
What a learning experience it was to see how the people live on Tonle Sap Lake. The homes are incredible to see. The water level is low in February but our guide walked us through the whole community and shared a lot of information with us about the life of the people. Our great guide was Nak Chung. Ask for him. His English is very good.
the greatest tour guide
