You must know how to ride a scooter and bring a valid driver's license to join the tour. You must take the licence with you the tour day otherwise you won’t be allowed to drive.
Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking.
Minimum age: Driver age is 18 years - Passenger age is 13 years
A valid credit card is required as a guarantee in order to do the tour as a driver, otherwise won’t be possible to attend the tour (no refund will be issued if you forgot your card)
Please note that if you sign up for the tour as a driver consider that previous experience driving a scooter is required. The tour leader reserves the right at his or her absolute discretion to terminate the participation of any rider who is unable to drive the Vespa safely and no refund will be issued if this happen.
If special circumstances arise due to weather conditions, we may be forced to modify the planned route with an alternative one, possibly maintaining the duration and quality of service.

The tour take places rain or shine. In case the weather does not allow us to start the tour due to heavy rain, storm or wind, clients will be offered an alternative. In case a storm occur during the tour and the guide decide that for security reasons is better not to continue with the tour you will be escorted back to the departure place but if this happen no refund will be issued as this is beyond our control

To drive the Vespa Scooter is required to sign the rental contract and the following documents are necessary: driver's license - credit card (no ATM, no debit card) At the time of the rental a pre-authorization on credit card will be made as a guarantee for any damage, which will be canceled upon return from the tour if there has been no material damage to the vehicle.
Please note that any damage made to the vespa during the tour, need to be paid by the customer

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Please check the pick-up point.. we were never told that we have to reach Siena at 9:30 am for a departure... The title says from Florence and they NEVER booked that for us, which should have been INCLUDED.. a Very bad experience, and we are hoping to get a refund because this was a scam. PLEASE CLEAR EVERYTHING OUT WITH VIATOR. We had to cancel this experience because of this company not making our booking clear.

Our Day On A Vespa (Not)!

It began with a failure to pass the Vespa driving test. A little unfair as, unless you have been on a motorbike recently, you most likely will fail! We wound up in a 1960’s vintage Fiat 500 following the pack of Vespas. Shhh! Don’t tell anyone but we got the best deal - no cold hands, no bugs in your teeth and free hands to take lots of photos! I do think it would be a good idea for the tour company to indicate that you would need to pass a driving test in order to participate.

Nightmare Tour, nightmare company

A nightmare. Our Vespa and Wine tour was supposed to be the highlight of our trip. I asked before booking what happens if it rains (the forecast said 90% chance) and they said a full refund would be permitted. Our tour was rained out and the company could not provide alternative because they didn’t have one for the large group. They refused to offer a full refund like they had promised. Also, just a warning that vespas are incredibly dangerous. (My party all signed waivers and knew and were happy to take the risk). In the morning, about 15 minutes into the tour and the couple in front of us got in a terrible accident with a local transport truck, it was traumatizing for every member in the group. I was right behind the accident and I will remember the horror of what I saw my entire life. We waited for ambulance for over nearly two hours and the company did nothing to comfort the rest of the group. Not even offered a bottle of water. Extraordinary circumstances do happen but this company failed at handling this experience. The rain poured heavily and made it unsafe to continue, they couldn’t provide an alternative and we were denied any kind of refund. Would never trust this company again, ever.

Matt, our guide, is an excellent instructor - in spite of my poor Vespa driving skills. The tour itself is BREATHTAKING. It basically convinced us to change our tickets and stay in Florence for longer. This tour is a must for those with a taste for adventure!

great tour! before you all leave they make sure you can ride/drive the vespa in the parking lot. I will admit it was rough driving in the small driveway they have you practice in , but it was so easy and fun once you get on the road. If you dont pass the test, they have other options to accomadate! Winery was great and the little small towns you stop in were great!

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Florence! My husband had a blast riding the vespa through the countryside! The views are absolutely breathtaking, just don't get distracted if you are the driver. Some of the roads we went on had a bit of traffic, with tons of cars trying to overtake us. It will definitely help to have some experience riding a bike.

Vespa to a Tiny Fiat

A great tour! I'm not a Vespa driver, at least that's what I quickly learned during the lesson portion before the tour. Had a bit of difficulty getting accustom to driving and steering a Vespa. So my tour guides recommended me to the tiny Fiat as an alternative. I can drive stick so it was no problem. The tour was simply excellent as we drove through the country side. We stopped for some great wine, a light lunch, later for some gelato, a medieval castle and even a picture perfect, postcard like photo-op on a long cypress lined vineyard road! To take in the Tuscan country side on a Vespa, or even a tiny Fiat, is tour you will never forget.

The panoramic view of the wine country was unforgettable and absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed riding on the Vespa and our lunch/ wine tasting was fabulous as well. It was rather a slow start because it took them 2 hours to check everyone in with authorizing information. We only had the pleasure of visiting one place for our wine tasting the other places were more site seeing and a quick stop for gelato. It would have been nice to have seen more places that made wine and more wine sampling. They were very concerned about our safety and were very friendly.

This trip was amazing. It was all day with a great lunch and wine tasting. Everyone was so nice and the views of Tuscany were breath taking. I was too small for the vespa and they accommodated me with a fiat while the others rode vespas and I had a blast. It was nice that I knew how to drive a manuel.

What a great day out! The Vespas were in great condition and easy to ride coming from someone with no prior experience. The route through Tuscany is gorgeous with very little traffic to contend with. Our guide Bill? was great and his enthusiasm for the region is infectious. We also enjoyed the wine tasting lunch break at the beautiful winery.
