Michaela was an amazing tour host explaining the history of Italy culture and wine. Made the ride out very fun and enjoyable. Both winery’s were beautiful and the wine was amazing. We purchased bottles from both winery’s. The host for the tastings was very knowledgeable and passionate. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Italy! Thanks Michaela 😄

Making the most of one day

My sister and I had very limited time in the Siena area and this tour was a perfect way to spend our day sampling wine and food and seeing the beautiful countryside. Our guide was amazing. He was knowledgeable, kind, and funny. Highly recommend.

The tour of the Tuscany countryside was wonderful. We visited 3 wineries all very different. All very good. Each winery produces wine from different types of soil and so the result is different flavours. The wineries themselves were also very different and very special. Lunch was served at the 3rd winery in Montepulciano Dessert was a delicious gelato in Pienza The tour was full of information about the area. We enjoyed personalized door to door service in a comfortable luxury van

The last tasting was ruined by serving 25C Brunello. First winery was so so. I sent 2 emails trying to clarify whether or not we are going to be picked up. Neither was responded to. Been on several wine region tours and this was our least favourite. But still okay-just not great. And, very easily fixed.

Good tour, great wine, long day

This was a good tour. There were six of us plus our driver, which we booked because it was a small group. The wineries were all excellent, with very knowledgeable hosts. Because we crammed so much into one day, we did not get to spend any free time in Montepulciano, which was very disappointing (we have been there before, but I was looking forward to spending more time there). We got to the wine tasting room in Montepulciano very late and had a filling lasagna lunch, so we had to cancel a planned dinner reservation back in Siena. Loved the town of Pienza and would like to have stayed there longer. These are not major complaints by any means, just suggestions for future tours. Overall, we enjoyed the day!

Great experience, would go again. The wineries were beautiful, and the scenery even more beautiful. The Cencioni winery especially stood out for great service from Arianna and great wine.

Most beautiful countryside I have ever seen. Our first two stops were fantastic. We learned much about the process and the region and tasted (and purchased) some excellent wine. Our third stop was not as accessible as the first two and may have been wonderful except that my 77 year old mother couldn’t see the steps very well to descend into the cellar and she took a nasty tumble which ended our day. This was also the lunch stop and so can’t comment on that. The local tour company was very concerned and thoughtful for my mother’s well being which is so appreciated.

Niccolo did an excellent job guiding us through the tour. The Brunello wineries were excellent and we really enjoyed the stop in Pienza with and excellent cheese tasting. The winery in Montepulciano was interesting. They took us down through the cellar which was very impressive to a set of tables for lunch. The wines at the Montepulciano winery, however, did not compare well to the Brunellos and lunch was a minor disappointment.

A Wonderful Experience

We had Massie has our driver and our guide. He was unbelievable and helped make this experience a unique and memorable one. We got to taste amazing wines and I can't wait for my orders of Brunello. The beauty of this wine region cannot be put into words and just has to be experienced first hand. This tour will give you everything you could possibly want in a wine tour with breathtaking views, excellent wine and amazing food. All the wineries have a great system for ordering wine, grapa and olive oil. There is no comparison on the quality of the wild boar salami and the pecorino cheese. This is just simple a must do if you have time in tuscany and want a great wine tour. We took 3 wine tours and the wineries we went to on this tour had the best wines.

Not exactly as we expected from start to finish. Our driver was switched out the morning of the trip and we weren't sure if he knew exactly what the expectations for the tour was. He drove very fast and that was somewhat alarming. We went to three different wineries and sampled delicious wines, bread and cheese. We were supposed to have lunch at the third winery but were served more cheese, bread, along with salami for lunch which did not exactly meet our expectations. When we got back into the van, the driver asked me what we were given for lunch and I told him. He said, "No pasta, lasagna?" I told him no food other than bread, cheese, salami and of course wine tastings. It was not exactly the kind of trip I would recommend for people who wanted to savor the Tuscan experience and learn a little about wine. The tour operators need to lock down their plans and instead of just driving us, they should check that the experience we are having is exactly what they are selling to us. It could have been much better for the price that was charged.

Long Day

This could have ended after the 2nd tasting which was wonderful. The 3rd stop was not needed, boring and extended the LONG DAY well past what it should have been. We were soo late that the traffic prevented our guide from dropping us off at our hotel and we had to walk home - not that thats a bad thing but after walking all day - with bags in tow, it was a let down.

Hi Anthony, well in the itinerary we have full-day tour with 3 wineries so we respect that program, then you can always ask your driver if you prefer something shorter we are very flexible with that. Sometimes we know, that in Florence we find a little traffic to enter in town in the morning for the pickup or in the afternoon for the drop-off but is normal in a city like Florence which is very crowded in October. First two were good - third one was unnecessary

First two wineries were really good, interesting and informative. Wine tasting at the first one was good - second one was too many wines and no breadsticks to help clear the taste. The visit to the town was too short to be of any value and just delayed lunch. Lunch was at three (we left at 8 a.m.). The lunch was just samples of three meats and cheese. It was not good The third winery presented as a commercial visit to their store.

Great tour and scenery! Wine is amazing! Very interesting history of the castles! A lot of walking of stairs, not necessarily easy for anyone with walking issues. The drive is beautiful but the drivers are crazy!!!

Incredible Winery Experience!

This wine tour is fantastic. The pick up was so easy, the guide was informative and the vineyards were incredible! The tour selects 3 unique experiences. We went to a larger winery, a family run vineyard then an older family Montepulciano winery. Lunch was served at the last and it was a once in a lifetime experience. All three were very unique, but amazing. The day was smooth, easy and we could drink the local wine without a care. I highly recommend booking this tour for a good tasting of Montalcino and Montepulciano in one day. We enjoyed every single second of the drive, the touring and tasting! Well worth the price and the booking.
