What To Expect

Begin your culinary adventure in central Siena, where you’ll join up with your guide and head to a private kitchen.

Siena's countryside is abundant with olive groves, grapevines and sage and rosemary bushes, all which contribute to its culinary success. Using these local ingredients, learn how to first prepare the antipasti, or starters. Under the tutorial of your chef, put together plates of toasted crostini as well as the toppings for bruschetta, bread topped with juicy tomatoes, olive oil and basil.

Afterward, try your hand at Tuscan pici, a thick pasta hailing from Siena. Mix and knead your dough before cutting it into doughy strands, topped off with a sauce.

Then, say ‘Buon appetito!’ as you sit down to eat your dishes with your group. Your chef will select a top Tuscan wine to pair with your meal.

Appetites sated, depart with a recipe card so that you can recreate a taste of Tuscany back home.

Fantastic experience for the whole family

Fantastic experience - we loved learning how to cook ravioli and tiramisu with Simone. He was very welcoming and entertaining and the highlight was enjoying the food out in the sunlight in his courtyard. Our kids (7, 9 and 11) gave it a 10/10. Thanks Simone!

Siena countryside cooking class

Simone is wonderful. He made the experience rich with stories of his grandmother who taught him everything about cooking. Great venue in his farmhouse's converted stable to a kitchen. Loved every minute plus chance to purchase local wines.

Amazing cooking class

Great family fun

We had great fun in the cooking class. The class is held on a remote site and not in Siena. The hosts were funny and patient with us as we learned how to make pasta from scratch. The lunch that followed was delicious. They were also very generous with wine which is always a plus for me. Our only complaint was that we had trouble finding our pick up agent, we had to call him to get him to come to the pick up spot in Siena which was odd. All in all a great family experience.

Highlight of Tuscany Countryside

This was the highlight of our time in the countryside! We learned so much while also laughing a ton and engaging in rich conversations with Simone and other group members. Simone not only taught us some handy tips and recipes for making homemade ravioli and tiramisu, but also had this way of getting the group to engage with each other and truly live la dolce vita. Simone went out of his way to ensure we had a fun time and learned so much. He was also extremely helpful with giving us ideas of where to visit in the countryside (we visited a nearby castle at his recommendation on our way back to our hotel and the views were stunning). Do not think twice about this experience-you will not regret it! We can’t wait to try making our own homemade pasta when we get home. Thank you Simone! And thank you to his wife who helped us find where to go! You both made our trip unforgettable.

We are in Europe for a month and by far this was one of our FAVORITE experiences. The class is held on a beautiful property! We had the best day with Simone and would spend everyday learning to cook with him if we could. We had so much to fit in, in the small time we had in the Siena but would of done this class again if we had more time. Delicious Authentic Cooking Class

My partner and I had such a great time! If you are looking for an authentic cooking class this is the one. It is based in a country cottage on a vineyard. We learnt so much and the recipes were so delicious. Simone was such a great teacher, so relaxed and informative.

Well and truly exceeded our expectations , Simone was a great host and chef. Myself and 3 friends travelled in from Florence for the day & was one of the best days of our trip! Simone was absolutely amazing we had the most fabulous time . Learnt lots of amazing tips for cooking Pasta. My friend and I were there with our daughters who absolutely loved it and fell in love with the Tuscan Hills! I could not recommend this highly enough. Our family had such a wonderful experience cooking with Simone! It was definitely one of the major highlights of the trip. This class was absolutely worth it. First of all, the cooking location is perfect: a beautiful rustic house in the countryside above Siena, surrounded by wine and olive tree fields. The cook Simone is very kind, likes to share anything from his garden as well as from his lifetime experience, and is putting in all efforts to help us out and make us "feel" how to cook something really good. We cooked 2 classic dishes: fresh ravioli with sage butter and a tiramisu. This class is not extremely advanced, but surely worth it, also if you are already familiar with making fresh pasta.
