Great Experience - Capt Brady and his first mate were amazing, we had so much fun and we all caught at least 5 fish each - about 25 total for our group of 5. Everyone was happy. We enjoyed our adventure.

Fished the bay & the jetties with Brady. He worked very hard & continuously to put us on the fish. We docked at Lobo Del Mar and he delivered our catch to the kitchen. The Redfish was blackened and plated as fish taco's and was delicious. I would choose Brady and SPI Excursions again. It was very pleasurable Spring weather, even saw some Dolphins too.

Guess what WE DID NOT CATCH ANY FISH!!!! The ppl that manage this place should know when the weather is not good for fishing. That's the reason that we where the only boat out there, bc everyone else go the message and cancel. # 2 I did send a message to find out if the trip will b cancel bc we were concerned about the weather, but ya didn't and you are in the business of fishing????, instead ya asked to upgrade according to ya it will b better due to the weather and help catch more fish, instead of canceling. What kind of crap is that???// bc were out there litter freezing going to different spots and all of them with no luck NO 1 fish. Believe this is not the 1st time we go fishing and never we came out without anything. STOP STEALING PPL MONEY!!!!!!

Hi Jeffrey, sorry about your experience. It is called "fishing" for a reason. You asked about the weather nearly 2 weeks prior to the trip, and had you requested to cancel we would have considered it because it was 65 degrees. The weather was fine for fishing the day you went. Being Overcast doesn't make the fish hide. There were other fishing boat companies that were out because they depart from our dock. The upgrade was putting you on a boat better to operate in shallower waters (nothing to do with the weather). REMEMBER WE REFUNDED YOU BACK FOR THAT. And your reply was you wanted a refund for everything because you didn't catch fish and if we didn't refund you fully you were going to contact your lawyer and sue us.
***************************************************Because of this aggressive behavior and also rude at the arrival, you are no longer welcome at our establishment........... I would also like to mention it was your request to cut the trip short and come in.

Brady was an excellent guide, friendly, professional and hardworking. He put on our fish all afternoon, almost none stop action. Beautiful weather and calm seas. Would highly recommend a trip with SPI Excursions.

Had a morning trip with Chapo. We left on time and headed to a shallow spot to catch some whiting and sand trout. Later some of his other captains told him the black drum were starting to move so we went up a channel and caught 7 keepers and a lot of smaller fish. Chapo was great with the grandkids (13 boy &16 girl) putting them on fish and gently coaching them on how to hold their rods and play the fish. My wife and I have been on many charters and she said this was her favorite. ( She may have forgotten Cozumel and wading with the stingrays while we were eating fresh ceviche). Totally different kind of trip though. Bottom line it was a great trip. Had our small fish fillets cooked into fish tacos at their restaurant Lobo Del Mar. So good.
