What To Expect
Glide above the picturesque mountain town of Squamish as you enjoy the incredible views of Howe Sound, Squamish Chief Mountain and Shannon Falls with this admission to the Sea to Sky Gondola ride. It's the perfect opportunity to experience one-of-a-kind views and a variety of fun outdoor activities during your Squamish visit.
Start your ride at the gondola basecamp, picking a departure any time between 10am and 6pm (or from 10am and 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays during the summer months). Before you board, take advantage of the on-site café, children's play area and shopping. Then climb aboard your comfortable 8-person gondola for the ride to the top. As you glide up 2,900 feet (880m) into the air in your Austrian-manufactured gondola, take time to absorb the incredible pine tree-covered mountain scenery down below. You'll likely be able to spot notable Squamish-area attractions such as Shannon Falls, Howe Sound fjord, and the rock climbing area at Squamish Chief Mountain.
Once you arrive at the top, take time to explore the area at your leisure. Take a walk on one of the nearby hiking trails, or check out the 330-foot (100m) long Sky Pilot suspension bridge and the 5000 square-foot (465 sq m) viewing platform, both of which offer stellar views. If you're feeling hungry, head to the Summit Lodge Restaurant and the nearby tea house, where you can purchase food at your own expense. When you're ready, make a return ride back to the bottom to finish your trip.

it was a drizzly day, but that meant there was no wait! Very helpful and courteous staff. We both loved the ride. It’s so stable and smooth that it isn’t scary at all and of course the view was extraordinary despite the weather. We enjoyed 3 of the hikes at the top, all on well-kept trails, again great views.

A must do if you are in the area! The gondola ride is very smooth. If you’re nervous about the suspension bridge, I encourage you to try. It feels very sturdy, doesn’t really sway. I don’t love heights, and I had no problem. The views are amazing. We went around 11:30am on Sunday in January and there was no line.

We enjoys the ride thoroughly, and appreciated the short line when we visited! However, given the rains, we couldn't relish the fabulous nature views as we rode, both up and down... may we strongly suggest adding wipers to the glass shields so that folks riding the gondola can view clearly? Would help future visitors a lot!!!

Beautiful trip to the top. Very smooth and quiet gondola ride. There is probably about 2 minutes between each gondola and the nice thing is they can knock down a line quite rapidly. The top was picturesque. The suspension bride was a partiflcular favorite as well as all the views of the surrounding mountain.

Love it! Such a beautiful ride and got in a hike at the top. The suspension bridge was awesome even though I am extremely scared of heights couldn’t pass up the opportunity! Pricing was a deal!
