Godfather tour does not disappoint!

This tour is well worth the money! Bruno was an outstanding guide. He even called the restaurant for us after we asked if they could prepare prickly pears for us to taste. The luncheon was traditional Sicilian and included an antipasti, pasta, bread, wine and lemon ice. The Godfather Tour was very interesting. He even introduced us to the actress who played Michael Corleone’s Mother in law. We were able to take pictures with her. Definitely recommend and ask for Bruno!

As with any other tours, the tour guide is what makes the difference. We had Bruno for our tour guide and I don't have enough words to describe how he made this tour spectacular. It wasn't just about godfather movie locations. He was full of history and stories and knows everyone in the towns. The experience is fantastic in every way and I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Bruno. It'll be worth it.

This was a fantastic tour! Not only did we get to see the places where many of the scenes took place in The Godfather, but we got to see the beauty of Sicily. Our tour guide, Omar Orlando, was so knowledgeable about the movie and the island of Sicily. I am disabled and he was so attentive and made sure I got to see everything on the tour. He said it was our tour and we could spend as much time as we needed to take pictures, eat and shop! I would definitely recommend you asking for Omar! He made the tour so special! Thank you Omar!

Dissapointment from the Godfather tour

We were charged for a private tour, and received a semi private tour. We Recieved a text a day before the tour saying that another couples tourguide was unavailable and would we mind if they rode along with us. I said sure, assuming our rate would be adjusted from the private rate to to the semi private rate. Our tourguide was not the warmest person and was disappointed in the amount of info provided while on the actual tour. Lunch was delicious although we needed to find our tourguide after to get our ride back. I would not recommend this company.

I smile because our guide before returning told you to wait a moment because he needed to go to the bathroom, so Marco was at the restaurant. He hadn't forgotten about you. :) The guide I assigned you for the tour the day before had a fever and when he informed me, I immediately wrote to you: either we cancel the tour or you have to do it with another couple. Your reply was, " Taking the tour with another couple is not a problem". We worked hard that day to arrange the tour for you. It would have been easier to cancel, but our seriousness and professionalism prevented us from doing so. Best regards

marco was an incredible, kind, knowledgable, and wonderful guide. we left feeling like we learned so much about the beautiful culture, history, and landscape of sicily. we loved his commentary and film analysis. 10/10, everyone should take this tour, regardless of if you've seen the film.

Our guide Marco was a pleasure to be with on our Godfather tour. We found him to be very informative, friendly and attentive. He enhanced our trip by sharing stories and assisting us with taking pictures which helped make our trip more memorable. We had a wonderful excursion thanks to Marco and would highly recommend taking a tour with him!

While our guide Omar went above and beyond. I felt the tour fell short on the meal option. It indicated food tasting or fish dinner. At no time were we asked which we preferred. Being we took the last tour of the day and going over the dinner hour I had assumed we would be offered the fish dinner (guess you should never assume). Instead a plate of antipasti and 3 very small tastings of a variety of eggplant, granita and a glass of wine. While all very tasty I think the options that were listed was deceiving for the simple fact the operator chose on my behalf. We were very fortunate to meet the actress who starred in the film as Appolina's mother as she still lives in the town and got our picture taken with her. Very lucky.

As we advised previously, fish dinner option had been deleted about a year ago. We suppose that you saw a mention of fish dinner at some outdated tour description. However, you booked the tour with "tradional food and local wine tasting" (caponata, Sicilian parmigiana, prosciutto, salami, olives, Sicilian cheeses, sun-dried tomatoes in oil, eggplant in oil, homemade bread and pasta alla norma). Actually having an aperol spritz in Bar Vitalli where Michael told Apollonia’s father he was going to marry her. Also standing in the church where they got married. Our guide Marco was a veritable encyclopedia of info and insights. He could not have been nicer and clearly enjoys what he does. Trust me when I say if you enjoyed The Godfather this is an experience you can not refuse!!

A fun, relaxing day trip into the countryside to escape the crowds of Taormina for a few hours. Beautiful scenery and a chance to see authentic Sicilian villages. The Godfather locations are a bonus. Marcus was terrific—enthusiastic, intelligent, and full of great stories.

This was an exceptional tour. Marco was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. As a local to the area, he also shared in depth history of Savoca and Forzo d’Agrò beyond the film highlights, as well as some tips on local street food in Taormina. The town of Savoca is lovely and well worth visiting even if you don’t know much about The Godfather films. We enjoyed the sights at a relaxed pace and Marco remained conscious of our comfort in the heat. Don’t skip the granita at Bar Vitelli! Highly recommend this tour.

Fabio is a nice guide but the description of the tour does not match with the reality. There was no wine degustation and the dinner was in fact a lunch. The food for lunch was on the cantine level, I do not recommend this tour.

Werner thank you so much for review. Fabio is great guide its true. There was a misunderstanding. I gave you the option of lunch or dinner. Obviously if the tour starts in the morning at 9am the tour ends with lunch at 3.30pm. The tour cannot end with dinner at 10pm if you meet the guide at 9am. A tour cannot last 12 hours. We have so many good reviews on this tour, for the guide Fabio, and for the food. In the description it is clearly stated that it is a fish restaurant. For the wine you could ask Fabio and he could change to another one. Fabio told me that you liked Bar Vitelli a lot and the church where Michael married Apollonia. I'm happy for this and thank you again for the compliments to Fabio our local tour guide. Best Regards
