The price is applicable for pick-up / drop-off from Tokyo's 23 wards and Mt. Fuji area only. Any other area will have an surcharge of JPY 5,000-20,000 to be paid before or on the day of the trip. What To Expect

A must-see attraction for any trip to Japan is a chance to see Mount Fuji. This 1-day private Mt. Fuji charter tour takes the hassle out of your visit by taking care of all the logistics and pairing you with an English speaking driver.

Your tour starts with convenient hotel pickup in Tokyo, either from your hotel, the airport, or port. Use onboard Wi-Fi to stay connected- if you want- while you make the drive to Kawaguchiko.

Make several stops in the Mt. Fuji area. These are great both for photos and for learning about the area’s culture.

Check out the views of Mt. Fuji from both Lake Kawaguchiko and Oshino Hakkai village. Then pay a visit to Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine, before stopping at Gotemba Premium Outlets for designer discounts on the way back to Tokyo.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

This was an enjoyable day in spite of the clouds. Our driver Taran was very good and took us everywhere we wanted to go. Unfortunately the cloud cover prevented us from seeing Mount Fuji’s peak except for a few moments when it did show itself through breaks in the clouds. My advice is to check the weather before taking the two hour drive.

Our driver Zoma was very knowledgeable and spoke English well. We had a great time even though the weather was cloudy and views of Mt Fuli were not great. We went to a traditional Japanese restaurant for lunch which was also excellent. We highly recommend the tour and our driver Zoma.

Our driver was super friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. This trip was great for a family with small kids - able to switch itinerary on the fly and make pit stops whenever needed. Mt. Fuji wasn’t visible on the day of our trip so our driver offered us several other experiences and sightseeing opportunities along the way. Highly recommend this over the bus option!

Not a Safe Drive

Mt Fuji was the most memorable / beautiful reason we took the drive from Tokyo. After our first Mt Fuji tour by Viator was canceled just days prior to our trip, we booked this driver. The drive began in the morning and shortly after leaving the city, the driver looked sleepy and not alert. I suggested we stop for coffee while conversing with him. He braked hard several times for each stop which made two of the four of us carsick. Several times he drove outside the highway lane and upon our return to Tokyo, was sleepy once again. This newbie and awful driver should not be transporting tourists. He obviously has not been screened.

Not worth the money

We didn’t have a good experience at all. Based on the good reviews, we picked this tour thinking that the English speaking tour guide would at least tell us about the history/facts about each place that we visit so that we learn more about Japan history/culture. Turned out, it was not what we were getting. The driver just dropped us off at each location without saying much. We got to navigate the place ourself. We got a driver, not a driver/tour guide. We felt it is not worth the money. If what you need is just someone local to take you around, You are better off going to Klook.com or download their app and book a car with driver. It will cost you only 1/4 or 1/3 of the price

Sharul was great! The weather did not cooperate so we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji so instead he suggested different places to visit so that we can maximize out time while in Mt. Fuji area. He was a great driver and very patient. Let us know about the culture and explain each site we visited. We travelled with two kids and he was very good to them making sure they don’t get bored while touring. We couldn’t recommend him enough!

Mount Fuji experience on a winter day!

The spots that we got to see on this trip were great to get a view of Fuji. Unfortunately, though for our day it was heavily overcast, and we only got a 30-minute view of the mountain itself. However, these 30 minutes were breathtaking!

Mt Fuji trip

We had a wonderful time during this trip. We mainly went sightseeing through the different areas around Mt Fuji. When we first arrived Mt Fuji was covered by the clouds. Zeeshan, our driver knows exactly where to take us first. Gave us some insights about the places. Took us later to another lake where we had a nice view of Mt Fuji. Very relaxing and satisfying tour with a wonderful driver.
