Get deep into Ghibili, as much as a single day can allow
      Peter_M, Apr 2024
It was great to see “inspiration” sites from Tokyo and its environs culminating in the Ghibili Museum at the end of the day. While our guide was good, I found out more from Google searches during the day about the Ghibili connections to what we saw. Tge Myseum was spectacular and I am so glad that we could get tickets to go through the tour, rather than the nearly impossible task of attempting to get online directly. The architectural park and Hotel were excellent spots that brought you into the depth of the visuals of the films. Buffet lunch was stellar with a wide array of choice and excellent quality!
      Great tour and outstanding guide
      Derek_M, Apr 2024
The efficiency and comfort of the journey was great and the guide (Mishiko) was excellent- informative, helpful and amusing.
Good tour, knowledgeable guide, Catbus” cup :)
      Tomas_M, Apr 2024
Good selection of attractions, very knowledgeable and kind guide, tour worth spending money on – especially considering how difficult is to get ticket for Ghibli Museum from abroad. And each participant got very nice “Catbus” ceramic cup! :)
      Wonderful tour! Worth every penny!
      NATHALIE_N, Apr 2024
Our guide Miki made every minute of this trip informative and entertaining. It was great to visit two places (Hotel Gajeon & Edo Open Air Museum) that inspired Miyazaki before enjoying the Ghibli Museum. The pace is perfec, although I would have enjoyed a bit more time at the Edo Open Air Museum. Since securing tickets to the Ghibli Museum is virtually impossible, this tour is, by far, the best option! I would do it again!
      Great experience overall
      Shawncar, Apr 2024
Great itinerary, comfortable transportation, outstanding guide. Good value for your money. Excellent alternative if you can’t get Ghibli Museum tix on your own.
Beautiful, relaxing tour ending with Ghibli museum access
      Jeffrey_N, Apr 2024
Miki was so knowledgeable, funny and kind. She was an amazing tour guide. And Mr. Hashimoto drove very smoothly and kept us on schedule perfectly. We went to a hotel that inspired Spirited Away and had an excellent buffet lunch. We received a tea cup that was Ghibli-inspired that you can only get on this official tour. We were unable to go to the open air architecture museum due to a festival but instead went to a beautiful temple famous for daruma which was so much fun. The museum was gorgeous and we were admitted by being with this tour. Bring a lot of money for souvenirs! Not that crowded due to limited tickets and we saw a short original film that changes monthly. One of the highlights of my trip. Thank you so much Miki and Mr. Hashimoto!
All in one and best of all

It was a pleasure and met all my expectations. Great service. Between this and my Expedia app, these were all I needed to plan, book and enjoy.
      Only in Japan

Joy was a great guide providing insights to the areas along the way to our major stops. She was accommodating and helpful without being pushy. The Ghibli museum was like nothing else.
      Great tour and guide!!
      Lidia_M, Apr 2024
We had an amazing time on this tour! The lunch buffet was so good, and the hotel it was in is so beautiful - definitely a great way to start. Even though we had some traffic issues, Miki our tour guide was so amazing, with tons of information and pictures which allowed us to still enjoy the Edo-Tokyo Museum even with less time than normal. I learned so much from her, she was definitely the highlight of the tour. And of course, the Ghibli museum is a must visit!
      Perfect
      Allyson_T, Mar 2024
Perfect for when you don't feel like planning everything yourself. It was so nice to have a whole day where you can sit back, relax, and know that everything is being taken care of. The lunch was amazing too!
      Best trip to Ghilbi Museum
      Luis_S, Mar 2024
We really enjoy the trip, thanks to Michico, all the story and details made our trip like a journey. We highly recommend!

Totoro lives in our hearts here.
      Tammi_H, Mar 2024
It was nice to learn about the architecture inspiration for Mr. Miyazaki’s art. Bring in rooms filled with drawings and ephemera was heaven for me. The room showing how the films were created was magical. I think the child in me was awe struck. Thank you for the lavely cup and enthusiastic tour guide.
      Wonderful Ghibli Themed Day
      Rachel_F, Mar 2024
We had a wonderful experience with this tour. Our tour guide Miki did a great job explaining and pointing out all of the magical inspirations we visited along this tour. From the restaurant buffet (delicious) to the Edo Architectural museum we were able to see Mr. Miyazaki’s inspirations and get excited for the main event, visiting the Ghibli Museum! We even received a special mug that you can only get on the tour!
      Fun~♡
      Yuki_L, Mar 2024
I would say the most memorable moment was meeting new friends. If your solo traveling this is a good way to meet others and get informed about where you are going while maintaining your independence. my guide Miki was amazing. she is very nice and open to chat when it's free time. ^0^/
      honestly a really good time
      Blaise_B, Mar 2024
Went in with low expectations and ended up really enjoying each stop. I thought each stop before the museum would be mediocre but they were pretty interesting to explore and the time at each stop was appropriate. the museum also blew me away; it was really cool to explore. I have only seen a couple Ghibli movies so was a little worried but it was fun
Well worth it even if you’ve been to Ghibli Museum before
      Ryan_D, Mar 2024
I have had several friends go to Ghibli museum on their own and say how wonderful it is. After this tour I will tell them that if they have the chance they need to experience the tour, simply because you get so much more out of it than just visiting the museum.
Michiko is the best tour guide! This tour was fantastic!!
      April_S, Mar 2024
Michiko was the best guide that we ever had on a tour! We learned so much about the places on the itinerary and more. The meal was an absolute treat too!
      Not just Ghibli
      Donna_H, Mar 2024
The trip started off on a journey to a high end hotel where we had an extended buffet lunch, not at all connected to Ghibli. We then visited an outdoor architecture museum which was fascinating, but we were only given 40 mins to explore! It would have been far more interesting to have had substantially more time there. Eventually we made it to the Ghibli museum at approx 15:30. We had 90mins there which, despite the crowds, was adequate, but an extra half hour would have been appreciated. Our guide Shin was absolutely lovely! He could not have been more polite, informative and helpful. It is an expensive trip, so be aware of what you’re paying for.
Best tour guide ever - thanks!
      Mariajose_A, Mar 2024
Miky is the best tour guide for this experience she took the time to explain absolutely everything I could feel her love for Ghibli , she knows everything about every single detail and the context of the things that inspire the movies , by the time we arrived to the museum we were already “soak” into the culture and atmosphere of the space - we really love it and recommend it for all!
