Departure Point: Tour departs from the Falmouth port Directions: After departing the ship, it is recommended that you check in at the TPDco / JTB Information desk located inside the terminal building. Inform the representative at the desk that you are taking one of the tours on the Rio Bueno river operated by Braco Tours. The representative will then direct you to the Independent Operator parking area, where a driver will be waiting for you with a sign in his/her vehicle saying Braco Tours. If you are unable to find your driver, have a representative at the TPDco desk call Braco Tours. Dates: Sunday - Friday Return point: Returns to original departure point

Great time!! Highly recommended!!

We were picked up at the approximate time of 9:30 and taken to the location by Juan with the assistance of his cousin. Juan was very friendly and explained our surroundings. On the way back we were introduced to the Jamaican patties. Upon arriving to river tubing in Rio Bueno we were warmly greeted by Kim and suited for our adventure. We were fortunate enough to be assigned to Davian who is an exceptional guide. He made it all the more fun. We were very pleased to find that it was just us four in the group. The rapids were just the right amount of fast exciting sections to calm sections. As we floated down the river, Davian would tell us different stories about him growing up in the area and the area & fauna itself, as well as, the wildlife. We also had the opportunity to jump into the refreshing river from a small platform for a quick swim. We then switched to paddling a raft to where the river meets the Caribbean Sea. Once arriving at the beach, we ditched the raft and took a leisurely walk to our ending point where there were showers, bathrooms and picnic tables. We highly recommend this excursion to everyone.

The trip was amazing and Kenroy was awesome! A few tips if you’re going: 1. Bring towels from the ship, you can leave them on the bus while you tube. 2. Bring water shoes, you can buy them in port if you need to. 3. Bring a waterproof camera bag, you can buy them in port too. You’ll want to be able to take photos. 4. Bring cash…with you on the trip, you tip your guide right after you finish tubing before you go back to the bus. 5. The bar and chicken after the trip is cash only. Make sure you have cash on you

Best excursion in Jamaica!

Best part of Jamaica!! Pelican was amazing and made it feel like a party. He knew exactly where to take us to make it the perfect trip! We loved walking through the waterfall and wading up and down the river. The tubing and jumping off the bridge was so memorable and ending at the beach with the delicious jerk chicken topped off the adventure perfectly!

The complete experience was amazing. Our tour guide “Oshane” was absolutely amazing. He really took the time to make our experience a great one. We truly can’t say enough about this tour. At the end we ended up at an amazing beach and the food we purchased, jerk chicken was incredible. I highly recommend this tour. From the minute you leave the port to the time you return it was seamless.

Our family of seven all agree Ms that this was the highlight of our cruise. Our guide was informative and helpful. He made sure to help each of us at the small waterfall that we visited. He interacted with our 8 and 11 year old and helped make the excursion fun and interactive for them as well.

Lots of fun especially the waterfall dunk to get us used to the water temperature and the platform jumping about halfway down the river. Tubing was great and we had an awesome guide that really cared about keeping us safe while making sure we had a lot of fun too.

Even though it was rainning, we still had lots of fun in the rapids on the tubes and then from the ocean waves pounding into the raft. You will get wet, so be prepared.

So much fun for our family group of 10. A great combination of light hiking along the river, a waterfall immersion, tubing in light rapids, a platform jump, and basic rafting. Our guides Elvis and Xavier were terrific.

Great guide, Andre made it so fun and safe! climbed up waterfalls, tubed down the river and then switched to a raft (once there were no rapids) and paddled to where the river meets the ocean. The plan was to hang on the beach for a bit after but the weather wasn't conducive. Highly recommend!

River rapids exceeded expectations!

Cruise tours were booked up so went out on our own for about 20 friends and family. Tour exceeded our expectation led by Davian, Garth and Elvis. Couple cool surprises on the way down the river. Rapids were just perfect for all ages. Stop for a couple shots of rum on way to ship. Short bus ride. Do it!!!!

We were picked up exactly on time & as Clive our driver pointed out different things about Jamaica as we headed to the drop off point that was about a 30 minute drive! There was a rest room onsite where we could change and all our personal belongings were left securely on the mini bus. We were greeted by Andrew our guide who set us up with helmets and safety vests and walked on a small trail in the woods for 10 minutes. We entered the river and were linked together with 3 other people as we traveled down the river with Andrew guiding us all the way! We encountered several rapids down the river and yes you will get wet. When we got down stream a boat took us to shore were we were able to get food and change and head back to the ship! The entire adventure was about 4 hours and was well organized, relaxing and fun! Hats off to Andrew who gave a great adventure

Welll organized and a fun tour! Our Guides aimed to please for sure. Guy our bus driver was fantastic and informative about the island. Lance our tubing guide made sure we had fun and stayed safe at the same time. Would highly recommend!

The first time last year was so much fun we had to go back for more this year. Lots of fun and the tour guides are amazing our river guide Brenton was awesome!. We went from Falmouth Port. It's super easy to get there. Simply walk to the parking lot at the port and wait for your friendly Braco driver in under the shaded tent. Your driver will direct you to your clean, air conditioned vehicle. It's a short ride to the Rio Bueno where your guides will set you up and you'll begin your adventure. You'll take a short walk/hike, learn about the local river and its beauty, walk and climb some rocks in the refreshing falls optional and take a cool plunge in the river. After that, your guide will help you in your tube and down the river you go. We felt safe and well taken care of by Brenton and Devyon and all the staff. They're super fun and make the trip worth it. After tubing, you end up taking a small raft to the open ocean waters and end up on a beautiful beach with a bar, freshly made food to order, showers to rinse off, restrooms and don't forget the delightful beach to enjoy. This trip is definitely worth it! Don't forget to tip your driver and especially your river guides. Seriously- they do a lot of work to keep your adventure fun and safe... don't leave without letting them know what a great job they did.

Transport to the shore excursion was...

Transport to the shore excursion was difficult. We had to wait under a large white tent located within the gated area owned by the cruiseline. The tent is located to the left of the main walkway into the town of Falmouth. There was no one to help us find our ride.The ticket was for a 1p.m. pick-up however, the ship was using eastern standard time and Falmouth is an hour behind. We were unsure whether we would be picked up on ship time or local time. Eventually, a driver appeared to pick us up. Upon leaving the gated area, we were taken to a seedy back street parking lot and told to switch vehicles. This alarmed my wife greatly. I then noticed that the second vehicle did not have the window stickers the first vehicle had which, apparently, was needed to get into the gated area. My suspicions were confirmed since we were dropped off outside the gates upon our return. The location was about a one-half hour drive away from Falmouth. The river was fairly swift with mutiple mini-rapids. We had a guide with us in the water who steered us away from rocks, saw grass, etc. We went about three miles down stream. We then were taken by boat to Bengal Beach which is at the mouth of the river. The driver met us at the beach and took us back to Falmouth. The whole excursion took about two and one-half hours from door to door.
