bird island; dolphins; turtle all very cool. Guide was informative and responsive. Would recommend him again.
snorkeling was too crowded, lost my boat (they all look the same), lost my group (all look the same). Company should work harder to provide unique visuals (e.g. unique snorkel or life jacket color for each tour group) so tourists can find their group/boat.

An incredible experience that I'd thoroughly recommend to everyone visiting. A very knowledgeable guide who ran through all local histories and noteworthy sites on the very rough track down to the reserve - keeping everyone distracted from the bumps :D
The boat captains were great and managed to guide us to see lots of Birds, Dolphins, Turtles, Stingrays, fishies and even a Nurse shark.

Great trip with beautiful nature to see and experience. We we're 12 people and saw dolphins, crocodiles, turtles and birds, snorkelling and natural pool only 15 minutes

We saw dolphins, a turtle, lots of birds, it was great. Highly recommended! It's such a beautiful preserve. The road there is indeed bad, but everything else was worth it. The day we went the sea was kind of rough, but we still saw a lot of things and truly enjoyed our trip. The food was also really good on Punta Allen.

Wow. What a day. We saw loads of wild dolphins, even a mama and baby, as well as sea turtles. The guides were fantastic and ensured we were comfortable. This was the highlight of my trip for sure!

I 100% recommend this tour that will take you to the reserve rather than driving there. 1. You will not get the same experience otherwise and 2. Most importantly, it cannot be understated how bad the road there is. It’s 46 km from Tulum and it takes them, who drive it daily, 2 hours to drive halfway then took a boat the rest of the way. It will take you much longer and you highly risk damaging your car. They have jeeps and off-road capable toyota Van to take you to the boat.
The guide is very entertaining. He makes it entertaining throughout including the ride there and back. Very informative about the place and the indigenous Mayans in Punta Allen that will feed you lunch. Alcohol is extra at the restaurant, so bring pesos.
We got to snorkel in the reef and saw many creatures including sea turtles, dolphins, and crocodile (don’t worry you will not swim with them. They are more in the lagoon not the reef).

Well curated trip, as advertised, included bone rattling bus ride into the nature reserve (it seriously is as recorded in other reviews, if not more so) followed by a boat trip around the lagoon, snorkelling at the reef and a dip at the beach followed by a simple lunch and return trip.
