We had a great time and can recommend this trip! We were picked up on time at 7 am at our hotel, so that we were one of the first ones at Chichen Itza before the big tourist busses arrived. Therefore, we were able to explore the place with only a few people there. Afterwards we went to two different Cenotes: we were able to choose where we want to go based on our guide’s recommendations. Thanks to our guide Mica, who was super simpatico and has a great taste in Cenotes.

We had a great time and can recommend this trip! We were picked up on time at 7 am at our hotel, so that we were one of the first ones at Chichen Itza before the big tourist busses arrived. Therefore, we were able to explore the place with only a few people there. Afterwards we went to two different Cenotes: we were able to choose where we want to go based on our guide’s recommendations. Thanks to our guide Mica, who was super simpatico and has a great taste in Cenotes.

Went very smoothly. Went to Chichén Itza and two cenotes. Swam in the first cenote ( cento xcajum). Although second cenote was pretty, we did not swim in it as the cenote was completely to ourselves so my husband and I were scared haha. If you want a cenote all to yourself or family the second one is perfect for you as it just opened a year ago

We had a fantastic trip with Mika. We were the only ones on the trip, so it felt almost like a private tour. He was very attentive and made sure we were comfortable and informed during the entire trip. The trip includes transport to Chichen Itza and two Cenotes. Remember to bring cash to pay for the entrance fees and for a guide at Chichen Itza if you wish to use one. The van was comfortable, and air conditioned and we felt safe at all times. Mika helped us to get our tickets at each location. The Cenotes we visited were amazing- one was more set up for tourists, with changing facilities, rope swings and a buffet restaurant option, the other was more remote and rustic- we were the only ones there! Amazing experience! We spent around 2 and a half hours in Chichen Itza and 1-2 hours at each cenote, which was perfect. We also passed through some lovely towns, and Mika pointed our traditional Maya homes and we stopped for photos at a beautiful church. Overall a wonderful experience!

All in all we had a wonderful time on this excursion. I give it only 3 stars because I thought this tour included a guide that went with us on the grounds of Chichén Itza and explained to us the history and important facts and would answer our questions about Chichén Itza. Our guide drove us to Chichén itza, showed us what line to get into to purchase tickets and told us to meet him in about two hours back at the parked car and then he left! We were completely on our own to wander about the complex. We left admiring the structures but not knowing a single thing about them! From there he took us to three separate cenotes which were amazing and again, told us how much time we could spend there and then was gone until we met him again at the parked car. Evidently I didn’t understand what was included with this tour because I truly thought we would have a guide to give us history on Chichen Itza. I also wish he spoke a little better English as we had some difficulty understanding one another.

Nous étions 2 seulement et accompagné de notre super chauffeur Mica, mais c’est aussi un super guide qui nous a fait découvrir la région, grâce à lui nous avons passé une super journée entre chichen Itza et les cenotes, je recommande à 100% cette excursions, car de 7h30 le matin à 16h, on en a prit pleins les yeux !

Wir haben dir Tour kurzfristig gebucht und waren sehr zufrieden. Wir wurden morgens am Hotel abgeholt und waren in Chichén Itzá bevor dir großen Touristenmaßen ankamen. Die Auswahl der Cenoten und die jeweilige Dauer vor Ort waren perfekt ausgewählt. Rundum ein perfekter Tag!

Notre chauffeur est venu nous chercher à l’hôtel à l’heure prévue, et nous a tout de suite expliqué en détail le programme de la journée (Visite du site de Chichen Itza, visite de 3 cenotes dont une où il est possible de déjeuner).
Nous sommes ensuite partis pour Chichen Itza. Arrivés peu après l’ouverture, il n’y avait pas encore trop de monde et la chaleur était supportable. Les 2h20 laissées sur place sont amplement suffisantes pour la visite.
Nous sommes ensuite parties pour les différentes cenotes. Le chauffeur nous expliquait à chaque fois que l’on prenait la voiture le temps de trajet à prévoir jusqu’à notre destination. Il nous accompagnait jusqu’au guichet, expliquait ce que nous voulions (pratique quand on ne parle que très peu espagnol) et nous donnait l’heure de rdv au véhicule. Le temps laissé sur place était toujours suffisant.
Les deux premières cenotes sont très belles et il y a peu de monde. Il est possible de déjeuner dans la deuxième. La troisième est plus connue dans la région donc plus touristique mais tout aussi belle.
La journée s’est très bien passée, lorsque l’on voit les prix pratiqués par les taxis ou les horaires peu flexibles des bus, cette solution offre un très bon rapport qualité prix.
Le chauffeur est très disponible pour échanger et répondre aux questions, le message de recommandations de choses à apporter/comment s’habiller la veille au soir a été fort apprécié également.
Départ à 7h30 et retour à l’hôtel à 16h30 pour notre part.
