This gelato class was the highlight of our trip in Verona. Max, our chef was professional, respectful, and very knowledgeable about all areas of gourmet food preparation. We were especially impressed with his lesson on pasteurization of the eggs that were required for one recipe (others did not require eggs). He had a wonderful way with keeping the kids mesmerized and excited about the whole gelato making process including the eating part. We had a simple gelato with many interesting add-ins such as hazelnut, balsamic vinegar (surprisingly great!), orange peel, salt, caramel, and coffee (for the adults). And, we made a decadent chocolate gelato with real chopped and melted chocolate. Also, we had a healthy and light yogurt gelato with fruit. It was an amazing experience! Thank you, Max! Highly recommend and highly enjoyable.

Really nice experience. My 8y old daughter enjoyed it a lot. They used natural bio ingredients so at the end you have a home made ice cream. I highly recommend it.

Everything about this Gelato Making class was perfect! Our Chef Christina was right on time at the prescribed meeting place with her cheerful yet professional demeanour. She was accompanied by the energetic and ever smiling Silvia, the young assistant. After a nice chat getting introduced to each other, we were led on a very short walk to the very neat, well-equipped, efficient venue of the session. The class began promptly with Christina clearly explaining in very good English with a fabulous Italian touch what we were going to do over the next 3 hours. And just as she promised, everything unfolded smoothly. We were a group of 5, plus the pair of teacher-chefs, and I think everyone will agree with the statement that we had a blast enjoying the lessons, each other’s company and the outcome of our fun efforts. We made 3 flavours of gelato — chocolate, cream and coffee — and a strawberry sorbet. Christina offered suggestions for some unique toppings, such as extra virgin olive oil, salt flakes, chili, peppers, pistachio, etc. They each made for an excellent variation. By the time we had finished tasting all the flavours, I was so content and full! Nice job, Ways Tours. Keep up the good work!

Simona was very good at instructing us. We were a small class which was perfect. We got to make 5 flavours. Delicious gelato!

This was something the whole family enjoyed including our two teenagers. The class only had about eight people in total which was a great number, the chef was very friendly and got everyone involved. She talked about her experiences as a chef and recommended places to go in Verona. We made three different flavours & they were all delicious. It was our last day in Verona and we were able to take our luggage with us which saved us a bit of running around. One of our daughters has Coeliac Disease which we mentioned when booking, there wasn't anything she couldn't have which was awesome.

Our teacher was amazing and lots of fun and we were lucky enough to have a small group and she was able to explain and show us how to make the most amazing gelato and we ate loads of it

Great way to spend an afternoon! The chef was very engaging and knowledgeable. I went solo and still felt like a part of the group even tho everyone else were coupled or families. I would highly recommend this course

This was so much fun! We made three different versions of gelato and received general cooking tips. The chef was so patient with various levels and ages. Participants included teenagers, family, young couple and seniors. Everyone had a great time and made new friends. Highly recommend.
