Step into a tropical jungle just outside Victoria. The Victoria Butterfly Gardens is located close to Butchart Gardens and is a great way to extend your garden time. Good place to visit if you have kids or love butterflies

A neat little place to visit if you've got kids or are really into butterflies. There are a few parrots and some little finches (or maybe sparrows?) also, as well as a flamingo, turtles, lots of koi, and a big iguana. Facilities were clean. Overall it was very relaxing and good use of time.

I never went. My cruise ship had a problem with my fishing license and I didn’t have time to get there and back in time for my 1:05 fishing excursion. The taxi line was an hour wait at the port. So sad that I had to miss my trip to the butterflies.
