Great tour and lunch

Kelly was our tour guide and she provided a great explanation of the Terra Cotta Warriors exhibit and its history. She was on time picking us up at the hotel. We didn’t feel rushed during the tour or during lunch. It was really nice being on a private tour because we could better hear everything she was saying, stay together, ask questions, and take our time at the site. Be prepared for large crowds no matter which day/time you go. Also the lunch on this tour only included one order of noodles so be prepared to pay yourself for any additional food/drinks you may want.

Jackie was great!! Very knowledgeable, prepared, and professional. He told much more information than you could find online. He had a speaker/earpiece so we could communicate better as well. I would give his English a 8+ or a 9. Almost native speaking proficiency. This tour was a great experience. ASK FOR JACKIE!

Xiexie Crystal for a fantastic private tour of the Terracotta warriors. Crystal helped me to understand the deep history of China and the warriors. She found lots of hidden photo spots and acted like my personal photographer to capture some memories. Perfect communication, great organisation and she was able to customise the tour at the last minute so I could take a train to my next adventure! 5 star experience, thank you Crystal

Our visit to the Terra Cotta Army was unforgettable, largely due to Lin, our incredibly knowledgeable and helpful guide. Lin was not only punctual but also brought an impressive depth of knowledge to our tour. She seemed to have endless facts, stories, and insights about the Terra Cotta Warriors, making the history come alive in a way that was both fascinating and easy to understand. Lin was also extremely helpful, always ready to answer our questions, no matter how detailed. She went out of her way to ensure we had a rich experience, pointing out lesser-known details that we would have missed on our own. Her enthusiasm for sharing her knowledge made the whole tour more engaging. In addition she even had us try some really good biang biang noodles. It was a great experience that we recommend to anyone.

Our tour guide Cristal exceeded our expectations! Not only was she kind and knowledgeable with her history, she was very efficient planning everything and her english is excellent. She was puntual pickup us up at the hotel with a very nice new minivan and chofer. We arrived early at the Terracota Warriors exhibition site and even though it was full of tourist, she was excellent getting us in and explaining the site every step of the way. After that we had a delicious lunch and she made excellent recommendations. Afterwards we ask her that we wanted to get foot massages and she arranged everything at a decent price. And last she made arrangements for us to have a dumpling banquet and a traditional Chinese theatre play. We had an excellent time and we highly recommend her and this agency for your future visit to Xi’an

A truly Xi’an experience

This experience was truly worthwhile. Our guide Crystal was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and more importantly kind. My parents and I learned tons about the sight and its history and Crystal really did an excellent job helping us become immersed in the local culture. This was a private tour, and I highly discourage folks to join tours of more than 5 people. In short, we had a wonderful time and not a single complaint. We highly recommend it.

We had such an amazing time at the Terracota Warrior’s site with Lin as our guide! I honestly couldn’t held the excitement. Lin knows so much about the history of the warriors. It was an honor and a pleasure to be able to learn from Lin the history of ancient China. She relives history and makes you feel a part of it. We also had a delicious lunch with Lin at a local restaurant. We are very grateful we took this tour and that Lin was our companion for the day.

It was a great experience, are guide Lin give us the best excursion and explanation about the whole history of Terracotta Warriors. Then she take us to an amazing lunch with a local meal. Definitely were very lucky to have Lin and her driver.

The tour is amazing and the guide, Lin, is even more than outstanding! She is super friendly, it is a pleasure to spend a half day with her and she is also super knowledgeable! So you get a lot of very interesting explanations. Her English is also top notch! Was a delight to do! I highly recommend to do this tour!

Another successful trip booked and executed with Viator! Our trip to the Terracotta Warriors site was excellent. Our tour guide Susan was awesome and very knowledgeable of the history of the site and how to best navigate the area. She kept us entertained during our transportation to and from the hotel. I highly recommend this tour and Susan as a guide.

Lily was my guide and she was super nice and very knowledgeable. Well worth the day in Xian, only wish my schedule has been 2-3 days. A beautiful city and the Warrior exhibition was magnificent. Hope I will be around when they finally uncover the tomb when technology has caught up and they will be able to unearth more treasures. Even met and had the farmer who found the treasures sign a book for me, so I am distantly connected with history, he is still a farmer but sometimes visits the exhibition on the weekends. What a treat. Lily made sure I was at the airport on time for my ongoing trip and insisted on making sure I could check in without trouble etc. so kind of her. Anne

We had a great visit of the Terracota Warriors with Maggie despite the crowd of the national holiday week!She then took us to a place where we tasted some very good local food and attend a tea ceremony. Just be careful to the price of the items they will try to sell you, it is very high!! So don't hesitate to negotiate ;)

Great experience brought to life by Maggie. Would definitely recommend seeing this amazing attraction and having Maggie show you around. We messed up our booking time and date and they accommodated our needs and changes last minute. Maggie and our driver took care of everything so it was a worry free time. Showed us the best parts and gave us all the much needed info to have a full experience. Didn't have any tourist traps or anything. We ended the day with Maggie taking us to an amazing authentic Hot Pot restaurant after the tour was over then walking us to the railway. She went above and beyond to make the TCW tour and then going the extra mile to have a great meal all worthwhile then some.

My partner and I loved experiencing the Terracotta Warriors, but were a little frustrated by the tour experience. Bella was a great host in the end, but on the ride out both she and the driver mainly the driver spent the whole time in loud conversation with each other and on their phones. We felt that this was highly unprofessional. Also - after 1hr30 - arriving at the sight, to be asked so how long are you in Xian felt a little out of step. With a guide you hope to develop some sort of rapport and the insincerity of made for a sour start.

My guide was Maggie again from a tour the previous day. It was raining and dull, but not deterred, we set off for the Terracotta Warrior site. Even though it was raining, there were many many people there to tour the site. Maggie was great and very knowledgeable of the history of the Chinese dynasty's and the site in general. We visited a gift shop where I met the farmer who had discovered the Warriors back in 1974. I had the obligatory picture and bought a book. Maggie took me to the three big Hangers which house the different pits and exhibits. It was sometimes difficult to take good pictures due to the number of people around, Maggie would provide history details when necessary and would advise me of the best places to take pictures. Afterwards, we walked to a local restaurant where I had a traditional tea preparation and some lunch, before the drive back to Xi'an. It was a wonderful day, event though it was wet and cold. Maggie was fantastic and I really enjoyed myself. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Xi'an.
