    Toshi san is a very nice and competent guide. His tour was fun and he tells you a lot about the environment of the forest and cave. I will look forward to book one of his other tours, when I will come back to Kawaguchiko! Arigato gozaimasu!

    Toshi was an amazing guide! He led an amazing tour and made sure to take pictures for our group during the whole trip. Toshi speaks great English if that is something you are worried about.

    Toshio was a great guide! The tour was super informative and made us feel super at ease. We really enjoyed just walking in the forest and taking in all of its beauty and sounds! The caves were beautiful and really cool! I’d definitely recommend this tour to do something out of the ordinary and make your Japan trip that much better!! We day tripped it to the mt fugi area from Tokyo, No problem!

    Toshi was an extraordinary kind and motivated tour guide! It was a pleasure talking to him during the tour. I felt very safe and in good hands with Toshi. The cave is an amazing experience and I personally also really loved the short hike through the Aokigahara forest!!

    The guide was great-knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Loved seeing the beautiful forest and hearing about it and the ice cave was fascinating. A fun day doing something unusual and interesting!! Also appreciated all the photos the guide provided to us free of charge!

    The tour was amazing and our guide was very knowledgeable, I will say it is a precarious climb and if you are not a good hiker or used to rock climbing it’s pretty daunting and could be dangerous.

    Thank you for the great comment. if you felt a bit uncomfortable with the tour, we apologize for that, but We’ve been doing this tour over 10 years, and no one was injured, had problems, also big well known tour companies are running the exactly the same tours over many many years. This is adventures tour for kids (6yeas old and over) to 90’s., also our guides are well trained in all aspects. We hope enjoy the rest of your trip in Japan, Thank you.

    The tour was fantastic and Toshi was a great tour guide! Learning about the forest, it's ecology and the ice cave was a great experience. The climb down the ice cave was a very cool experience and we'll worth the trip.

    Last november I had a great time in Japan and I had the opportunity to visit about 9 cities in this country. I would like to thank our guide who took us to Aokigahara forrest! He was fantastic and in my opinion this tour was one of the highlights of my whole holiday in Japan!! So, yes, I do reccomend this tour via Viator! Fernanda.

    Unforgettable experience during engagement trip in Kawaguchi Summer 2023

    This was during my engagement trip to Kawaguchi in summer Japan 2023 with my fiancée. We only stayed in this area for 1-night but it was the trip of a life time. Toshi-san helped us getting all our safety equipment on before we entered the cave. He took time to make sure everyone can enjoy the forest as well as the cave. He explained everything you'd wanted to know about the area patiently and was always friendly. We will never forget :) Looking forward to meet you again, Toshi-san.

Ice caves are very rare as lava caves, and ice can be seen all year round, and cave exploration can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. Children, couples, families, clubs, company trips, anyone can enjoy it with peace of mind. The foot of Mt. Fuji is also known as a power spot. Let's make new discoveries together. see you soon!!

    Toshi is a wonderful tour guide. He was very personable and accommodating. I was picked up on time from my hotel in Kawaguchiko and driven to the forest. I was the only booking for the tour, yet he did not cancel the trip. You can rest assured that you will not be cancelled last minute if no one else books the same tour. Pickup and drop-off is flexible as long as its around Lake Kawaguchi. If you have a request, just ask on Viator. For me, he responded within a day. Toshi has been giving tours here for the last 10 years and is very knowledgeable on the geological and historical facts of area. I give my wholehearted recommendation to anyone considering the Aokigahara Forest/Narusawa Ice Caves tour. If you go on this tour you will have a good time and you will be supporting a local, small business owner. God bless and have a wonderful time in Japan!

    This tour was excellent. I enjoyed having a private tour. Toshi san took a lot of time to share his great knowledge about the aokigahara forest and the ice cave and answer all my questions. Toshi san has a great sense of humor and can tell his knowledge in a very exciting way. I would recommend this tour to everyone who likes magical nature and adrenaline. The forest and the cave are breathtaking and the guidance of Toshi the cherry on the cake.

    It was suggestive, the aokigahara forest and the ice cave are impressive. The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke English very well, he explained a lot of things to me while they were walking in the forest

    The tour is definitely recommended, the forest is unique and eerie, and going underground in the cave it is a thrilling family experience. Toshio is s great guide and a super nice person. He picked us up at the hotel and took our suitcases along during the tour so he was able to drop us at he station right after. This has saved us a lot of time and simplified our logistics.
