Very informative and entertaining. Thank you. Some Peruvians (a large group) kept interrupting our walk for pictures. Other than that, our tour operator did an excellent job

Our tour guide was Cornelius Piper, a mature man with a comical slant of his witch and historical knowledge, he gave great value for money, even ran over our time frame.
I really need to go again to soak up more knowledge! Loved finding the cats that were hidden en route, there is even a cat map.
He took us to areas of York I didn't know existed, truly amazing!
Thanks Cornelius.....we'll be back.

Cornelius was a PHENOMENAL tour guide! He interacted with everyone in the group on their level and was an absolute pleasure! Our 3 girls (ages 14, 11 & 8) had the time of their life! He kept their attention the whole time. We would definitely recommend as a top thing to do in York! Thanks Cornelius!!

A great tour by Cornelius, giving us lots of juicy information about local witches from York. Entertaining and informative and a leisurely walk through the Shambles. Suited for young and old.

Our tour was a five-star experience, combining a knowledgeable and funny guide with a flat and easy walk through the city's beautiful architecture. The guide's passion for York's history was evident, making the tour both educational and enjoyable. Multiple stops allowed us to appreciate the city's landmarks, while learning about the history of witches. I highly recommend this tour for a delightful and insightful exploration of York's magical past.

We had difficulty understanding and deciphering the information told to us by Nix. Whilst a very bubbly character most of her ‘jokes’ fell flat and she failed to maintain the interest and attention of her audience. Her accent changed throughout and we were perplexed as to whether this was part of her character and she was occasionally forgetting to act. Or perhaps she was used to foreign tourists who wouldn’t know the difference between a Georgie accent, a Welsh, Scottish and then eventually Irish accent. Her sentences were jumbled and often spoken in the wrong tense. Perhaps this is the wrong job for her. Her microphone was too loud and she was often shrieking incoherently into it which literally hurt our ears. We learned a few facts when we could decipher the odd word. Her costume was very basic too and acting skills worse. Could have been so much better. No wonder people leave half way through (she told us this at the beginning - and she couldn’t work out why.)
