While drop-ins are encouraged at the cellar door, it’s a good idea to call ahead. Restaurant bookings are highly recommended, too.

Phillip Island Winery is on Berrys Beach Road at the western end of the island. It’s about a 15-minute drive from Newhaven, conveniently located along the route to the Nobbies and the Penguin Parade. There’s no public transport to the island, so you’ll need to rent a car or join a tour.
The winery is open Wednesday through Sunday from mid-morning to late afternoon, with select times for restaurant seatings. Special events—including live music, wine-tasting evenings, and private functions—are held regularly, so it’s a good idea to get in touch before visiting and find out the latest schedule.
