3 Days in Branson for Foodies
If you plan on taking advantage of the city’s plethora of outdoor activities—such as hiking, biking, or horseback riding, you’ll need to refuel. Luckily, the Branson culinary scene offers plenty of hearty, delicious food. Your inner foodie will be leaping for joy when you taste the dishes at some of my favorite restaurants in the city, ranging from famed pancake houses to top-notch barbecue. Here's how to spend three days in Branson when you love food.

If you only have time for one thing, make it downtown Branson.
Begin downtown where you can marvel at Branson's cute architecture and rustic trolley transportation, before having pancakes at Billy Gail's or chicken-fried steak and eggs at The Farmhouse Restaurant. Afterwards, a scavenger hunt through the city will help you get to know Branson.
Barbecue is big in the South, and you can get a taste at Gettin' Basted or Donna's BBQ and Burger Shop. Then head to the "Urban Cowboy" reunion where John Schneider of Dukes of Hazzard fame joins country music legend Johnny Lee.
On day two, learn about the distilling history of the Ozarks. Wake ready to wine and shine, and you won't be disappointed. Learn the brewing and distilling history of spirits made in the region, with tasters along the way.
Later that evening, prepare yourself for an evening of cowboy entertainment, dinner included. The Great American Chuckwagon Dinner Show is an experience where music, poems, food, and nostalgia are served up with a side of laughs.
Wake up and ride the Branson Alpine Mountain Coaster, which offers views of the Ozarks from the hills. You decide whether it's a calm, slow-paced traverse or a thrillingly rapid release downhill.
The Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks is a foodie musto-do. Not only does the event center look spectacular, but it also serves up one of the best dining experiences in Branson. Back in the city, sample dessert at Sugar Leaf Bakery, a Branson institution that doesn't disappoint. Finally, sing along to all the old-school 70s favorites at "Dancing Queen" to leave Branson on a very high note.
